Great if you're in it for the colors
I bought 5 cases for my new Fire HD, fully intending on keeping one black, one or more color. I purchased cases from Fintie, Exact, Elsse, MoKo, and ProCase. They were compared side by side, in person. I am writing one review and pasting it into all of them to save myself the time. All of them had the holes line up for speakers, cords, etc.The first three, Fintie, Exact, Elsse....all the exact same product in construction with a different stamp. They feel like what they are. Cheap PU cases in fun colors. They all fit perfectly. They all have the same stand-up viewing screen tab that works fine. The magnetic closure works. The sleep/wake feature worked infallibly on all of them. The problem on all of them is there is no corner protection at all. Yes, you can see that in the photos, but until you see it in person you don't realize how bad it is. The photos don't show how tight a fit it is. The corners are far more exposed than the picture shows, coming all the way to the edge of the case.MoKo was a nice case. Again, a nice snug fit for my Fire. Had a nice hand strap in a great location towards left of back. Also had an elastic band for closure, on top of magnetic closure. The sleep/wake feature worked perfectly as well. The viewing easel was fine. This one has corner protection one it, a big plus. However, the protection was a little flimsy.ProCase is the most expensive of the cases. Boring colors, nice case. Snug fit. Has hand strap in an awkward location, but I suppose it's a nod to the lefties. It came with bonus stylus/pen (seems dangerous, as you could accidentally use pen on screen?). Trifold easel design for viewing at two angles, nice. Magnetic closure works fine. Sleep/wake function...inconsistent. Doesn't wake every time. The corner protection is substantial. This is the only one where the speaker holes were completely exposed vs. being vented.Ultimately, the case is for protection in my world. So, I went with the ProCase and returned every other one. I just wish it came in some non-boring colors.

Perfect for 4th gen Fire HD7
Everything it says it is. Believe it when the write up says 4th generation Fire HD7. They position of rear camera and speakers is different from earlier models, so you can use this case with only 4th gen. Fits the Fire perfectly. Construction is pretty solid. I like that it supports "instant on," though that is a feature I don't use much.My only beef is that the stand is a little clumsy, allowing the tablet to fall flat with limited prompting. That is the only thing that cost it that 5th star. This is otherwise an excellent cover.

Bad stand design
This case is okay for general use, but the 'stand' on the back which allows it to stand up on its own is really badly designed. Ideally a stand should be usable with one hand, or at at worst a quick motion with both hands. This stand however has to be unfolded with one hand, and then the other hand has to pull a tab up off the back of the case for the front cover to slip into. The tab on the back is flush with the back of the case and can be difficult to pull up without looking at the back of the case. Once the cover is placed into the tab, the material of the case is so rigid that it actually pushes the front cover down and out of the tab and the tablet falls over.If you want to use the 'kickstand' feature of this case, don't bother, get something different. If you want this case primarily to provide protection and you are mostly going to be holding it or laying it flat, it's a good looking case and will work fine.

Case is nice but not functional the way the description says
The description says this is for a Generation 4 and that is what I have but the fire HD does not go into the case the way the case is laid out. When I put the kindle in so the power button and the plug in is exposed the camera hole is on the opposite end and when I turn the kindle around so the camera is exposed the power button and plug in is not. I am going to keep it because I do not use the camera that much. Also the sleep wake option does not work but I can use the power button. It is a nice case for the money.

Fire HD 7 Case
The case is great for protective purposes and it is nice that closing the cover turns it off. I've had it about a month. It has a snug fit and the access points for accessories are accurate. The flap in the back for the stand to work is stiff but that could be a matter of 'breaking in'. I bought the Navy color to match my Kindle cover and it's not an exact match. It's a little darker.

Excellent product and service
This case was affordable and looks more expensive than it is (I think the blue color helped with that). The case fits well, allowing for access to all controls, ports, and cameras. It's sturdy enough to provide the kind of basic protection I need, which is to keep the Fire covered in a bag full of other stuff. It works fine as a stand for landscape viewing. The stylus loop is a nice addition (it works with a standard stylus, but I might want one with a clip to ensure it doesn't slip out in my bag). The shipment arrived fast and the item was well packed. I would buy from this company again.

Good case, front camera on the wrong side..... not as shown
I got this case to protect and keep my 2nd kindle in. I verified that it was the right year/ model for it. Although it fits and will protect the tablet just fine, the camera holes are wrong, Since I don't feel I will use the camera on this device I will keep it, When it is placed with the back camera and speakers lined up the front camera is on the wrong side? It is on the wrong side from the pictures posted here

Good case for the budget-minded.
Like other reviewers have noted, the cut is slightly off around the power port, which makes it difficult to insert the plug. Also the orientation of the stand makes it so that you have to turn the device upside down to use the stand. This is fine since the screen changes direction along with the orientation of the tablet, but it's just strange they'd make it that way. Decent value for the money.
