We learn a bit about the First Child... Rei.
The Third volume of Neon Genesis Evangelion, is so far my favorite... This volume mainly focuses on Rei, also known as the first child who is very mysteriouse, especially to Shinji. The Begining to the book takes place after Shinji defeated the second angel. He is watching his father and notices that his fathers hands were covered with burns. He asks Ritsuko about it, and Ritsuko tells him that the burns were caused before Shinji and Misato were there. Something had gone wrong with unit 00 and Shinji's father saved Rei by forcing open the super heated hatch with his bare hands. Shinji then begins to wonder, what is so special about Rei? Rei, who's expression never changes and is almost always stiff with everybody. This is where we get to find out more about Rei then what's behind her face that always shows a seriouse mask. Also in this book is one of my all time fav quotes.... *warning* slight spolier ahead!* This is the Quote: "We may not have anything besides the EVA program now... but, well... As long as we stay alive... someday, we'll be glad we survived. It might be far in the future... but, until then... let's live on. Even on a black and empty street... if we go together... we might one day find something... like the moon the floats in the darkness."

What can I say but incredible!
Being an Anime fan, it surprised me that I stumbled upon this series by accident. But in all honesty, I'm glad I did. I have always liked EVANGELION but never knew that a series of books had been published.When I picked this book up at my local book store, I found that I wasn't able to put it down. The art work and the story blend together beautifully, and will keep you entertained long after your first reading.The book and movie series are wonderful, and are some of the finest the Japan has ever produced. In my opinion, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION ranks #2 on my list of favorite Anime, just below Hayao Miyazaki's epic masterpiece, PRINCESS MONONOKE.Read it, I know that you'll enjoy it.

Awesome!
This is one of the best manga I've ever read. It has excellent plot and character devlopement, and sucks you in completely. This particular volume is my personal favorite, because it's mostly about Rei Ayanami, my favorite character. She has got to be one of the best characters I've ever had the pleasure of reading about. Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the best manga out there.

Evangelion number 3!!
This the third book of Neon Genesis Evangelion!! Its very good and I strongly recomend it. If you havent read any Evangelion books then buy book number 1 and before you buy this one-otherwise this won't make any sense. The art in this book is execellent as well!! Again, I strongly recoment this book!

Assez complet
Pur artbook qu'avec des illustrations, pas d'blabla, pas d'chichi, des illustrations pure dans tous les formats, avec une bonne qualité d'impression et de papier. Il y a un peu de tout, des plans issus de la série, des artworks magnifiques, quelques fan art il me semble, beaucoup d'illustrations de personnages, c'est peut-être même là un peu le défaut de cet artbook. Il est très beau, je le redis, mais il tombe un chouia trop dans le fan service à mon goût, et n'expose pas assez les Méchas, Tokyo 3 la cité, les paysages de la série et autres. C'est un peu dommage. Mais ça reste sûrement l'un des meilleurs artbook de la série.

Arrivato con qualche danno, ma comunque in condizioni accettabili.
Insieme a Der Monde quest'artbook è imperdibile per i fan di Neon Genesis Evangelion. Die Sterne contiene altre illustrazioni dei personaggi di Neon Genesis Evangelion, comprendendo persino alcune su Kaworu, Misato, Toji, Kensuke etc. Anche qui nelle ultime pagine vi è una lista descrittiva di ogni illustrazione presente nell'artbook. Putroppo l'artbook mi è arrivato con qualche ammaccatura ma nonostante ciò preferisco tenermelo.

Bellissimo Artbook
Un artbook spettacolare, non può mancare nella propria libreria se si è appassionati di Evangelion. L'ho comprato come regalo per la mia ragazza la quale ha apprezzato molto, soprattutto come fonte d'ispirazione per fan-art.La qualità della carta e della stampa mi pare ottima e per ~25€ è un prezzo più che onesto!

Le contenu du livre reçoit 5 étoiles mais la reliure n'en reçoit que 2
J'ai eu en mains deux exemplaires différents de ce livre et tout les deux avaient le même problème au niveau de la jaquette: pour tout les deux elle a été mal pliée ce qui pour un collectionneur est difficilement acceptable (peut être que certaines personnes y attacheraient moins d'importance). Comme je n’étais pas content du premier exemplaire je l'ai renvoyé et Amazon m'a envoyé un deuxième exemplaire qui n’était pas mieux. Comme une fois qu'un produit a deux fois un problème on ne sait que recevoir un remboursement ou garder le produit (et que je le voulais vraiment) j'ai décidé de garder le livre.Le contenu du livre même est magnifique avec beaucoup d'images des personnages de la série et aussi des EVAs.
