Good sun hat
Bought for a Duke of Edinburgh trip to keep the sun off. Light weight and thin. Perfect for the trip.

Small for size
We lost the first one we ordered before my hubby had a chance to try it. I hadn't realised it had been put back by him in the delivery bag and threw it away. Reordered but the hat is far too small. He is ex army and only wore the same size beret most of the others did so he hasn't got a huge head. For hygiene reasons we didn't like to return as he then got Covid. He now is better and has given the hat to our nine year grandson. He has special needs and a below average head size due to a genetic condition. It fits him perfectly. Just disappointed we have spent a lot of money and hubby still hasn't got a hat! I do wonder if there was an error and that's why the hat is so small.

More like a rain hat than a sun hat.
This hat looks fine at first glance but although the ad blurb says it is made of cotton it is constructed of some kind of man-made type of fabric which you'd expect to find in cheaper rainwear. The dark grey lining is made of similar but even shinier material. The fine metal gauze of one of the four tiny circular ventilators has come away from its fastening ring which is rusty and this is right out of the delivery packaging. If I wore this on a hot sunny day there is no chance that sweat would be wicked away. In fact, in such conditions I would expect my head to be soaking wet and uncomfortably hot within a short space of time. All in all, I feel cheated, even considering the low cost of this piece of rubbish.

Too small for most adult heads. It's basically a kids hat.
Why did you choose this product over others?: It claimed to be a hat that can be worn by both men and women. Well, only men with tiny heads. I don't have a particularly large head and I have no hair, but even at its biggest setting it sits on top of my head. In a word, it's too small for any adult with a normal head size. My wife tried it on and it was too small or her too. It fitted my 11 year old son. It's basically a kids hat.
