I have been trying to find a purple quilt that is made of cotton, and reasonably priced for a long time. I was happy to find this on Amazon for a good price, and the description says that the material is cotton. When I received the blanket I washed it and put it on my bed to use even though it did not feel like cotton, because it was very pretty. I thought maybe it was sateen cotton, but it is not. Later, I looked at the paper that came in the plastic package and it says that it is made of Polyester!! I am very upset because the description on the website is an outright LIE!! Amazon should check things like this better before allowing companies to write their descriptions. When you shop online you need to be able to depend on an accurate and honest description of the product you are buying. If I had been in a store I would have seen the package insert that said POLYESTER and I would not have made this purchase. This blanket is not warm at all, and I had to keep all of my old blankets and my old cotton quilt underneath. I only gave two stars because the blanket is quite pretty. But it is not cotton- be aware of that before you buy.

I bought this as a comforter for the sheets (Elegant Comfort 6 Piece Wrinkle Resistant 1500 Thread Count Egyptian Quality Ultra Soft Luxurious Bed Sheet Set, King, Purple) - it will serve it's purpose for the summer but come fall, it will have to be put away as it is very thin. The color is a deeper purple than the picture and that was a bonus as I like the darker color.If you're looking for a light comforter/faux quilt - this will work.

Not bad for the price. I knew it wasn't going to be the greatest because of how inexpensive it was, but for summer and fall is just what I need. I ordered the king size, and it's a bit small. But I can't really complain, the price was right.

It's very pretty and adds the vavavoom to my room decor. It was cheap so I wasn't necessarily expecting luxury, but it works for me. The king is a little small, but otherwise it's straight.

Beautiful color patterns. Match my sons light blue room color. Warm enough for use in Winter and Summer.
