Good product with consistent weave.

This material was the perfect backdrop for the cross stitch piece.

This is very nice cloth. It is real cotton. It is thick enough & stiff enough to have a solid feel but easy to put in a hoop. It is packaged in a roll so there are no creases from folding. I have always used 14 count cloth before, but the pattern looks so good in 16 count that I will most likely use that size again. I will definitely buy DMC Aida cloth again & I prefer it to other brands that I have tried.

I forgot that the bigger the number the smaller the squares but that is okay I can still use this for other projects.

I'm new to cross-stitch, but not new to sewing. The cloth I received wasn't blocked properly so the warp and weft threads had a leftward lean. While it does soften up (at least while using the "sewing method" for cross stitch--I imagine less so if you're doing poke-and-stick method on a hoop) and can be reblocked (squared) to a degree by steaming and pressing, it's not what I was expecting. If I were doing a large scale project, I'd be horrified--your thread tension will never recover. Further, the double warp/weft threads were not consistent in their placement. If you need to do a line of 3/4 stitches, good luck. It arrived "rolled" but in thin plastic sleeve packaging, so it was basically folded. It worked fine for my small project, but I wouldn't buy it again and would warn anyone planning on a big project to invest in something higher quality.

My fault for being a newbie and not knowing what size (count) to buy. But it would have been helpful if there had been a picture showing the count so I could compare. Unfortunately while good for a small project, the count was too small for the really large one I had in mind.

This is a good quality, sturdy fabric for cross stitching. It’s strong and easy to handle.
