Perfect for the space I needed it for.

This is a nice big desk pad that is easy to clean, easy to write on, and works well as a mouse pad. It protects the desk without slipping. Only downside is that it ships with a strap that had a metal nub. In the summer heat it made slight dimples in the mat that haven't smoothed out yet and it's been almost 2 weeks. Good desk mat but the seller should ditch the strap or switch to a velcro strap because you could roll this up and take with you but it's cheap enough to buy one for the office and one for the home office. You can write on a single sheet of paper with a ballpoint pen without worrying about it punching through.

The competition was much higher priced. Upon arrival, this pad needed a bit of time to Un-Curl at the edges, as it came rolled. But after a few hours of lying flat, it was perfectly fine with hugging the table as you can see. I’ll not store it curled. Both sides are good, no difference. My table will be protected from spills and scratches. I can place paper directly on the pad and write using a pen or pencil. It stays in place nicely. Seems very durable. Cleanable. Not leather.

The size is good and to order. I just wish it was anti slip. Otherwise it is a good mat.

This is more comfortable, easier to clean, and nicer looking than any neoprene mat. Other reviewers have noted dimples or that it is hard to flatten - I have three of these and I've not had any problem. It definitely takes a few days under a some heavy books to flatten out, but it stays that way. A hair dryer on the lowest setting or sitting it in the sun helps. There is also, quite surprisingly, zero smell.

Just the right size for my home computer hutch desk. Most pads are so deep that one of the legs of my printer would be on it, making the device uneven. It perfectly covers the worn spots on my desk, and gives it a near new look again. It has worn well for several months now, and is reversible when needed. The low price is also a plus. It does arrive rolled up. I placed mine on an outdoor picnic table in the sun for a while, and it then laid perfectly flat on my office desk. I will buy again when the time comes for a new one, although it appears not to be for a distant time.
