Breathable and waterproof but not durable
I'm a year-round bike commuter in Seattle and often do bike workouts during my commute. I use this jacket on my daily commute. This jacket is great for what it is: extremely light, extremely breathable and totally waterproof. No jacket will keep you dry if you work out hard in a hard rain, but this is the best I've found. I've worn it in full-on hardcore Seattle rain without getting at all wet, and I've done a full hard workout with little more sweat than I'd get with no jacket at all. It is windproof but otherwise not very warm, which is what I wanted from it. It's also ridiculously light and would be an awesome stash jacket for unexpected rain, though. So why only 3 stars? I just ordered my 4th of these jackets in 2 years. On the 1st and 3rd, the fabric ripped apart, while on the 2nd, the zipper broke. The fabric has no stretch whatsoever and if it is stretched at all it will rip, and then the rip will expand. Definitely buy it a bit larger than you need so you don't have to stretch it while putting it on. That said, it's really inexpensive which is why I ordered another one. I do also wish it had a pocket.

El Nino 2016 in Oregon 12 miles a day commute
I need to ride long distances in all weather. I have other jackets that cost as much as $150 but this was my jacket of choice this year. It breathes like nothing else, it folds down small, and it is as lite as paper. I've been in a few hour-long torrential downpours and I was a little damp around the shoulders at the end of the ride. It feels so delicate and fragile (It came snail-mail in a manila envelope flat as a document) I was afraid I'd tear it but I was just careful and haven't had a problem with it even thought I've ridden with a backpack most days, so it is stronger than it feels. I'll order one or two of these a year and still save money over the more expensive jackets. I'm ordering one soon, even though I haven't worn the first one out yet. Fits me well. I've found this to be the only jacket that's waterproof and yet truly breathable, everything else I've found is like wearing a hefty bag. I leave my Showers Pass at home. Appearance? I know, but it works so well I'm willing to sacrifice the sexy. It's even my best windbreaker.

sizing chart is off
I like these lightweight cycling clothes but the sizing chart is way off.

Nice material for price, but odd sizing issues
Material seemed solid for the price, but sizing was weird. I am a reasonably trim but not skinny 5'11'' ~185 lbs (plus or minus 5). I ordered a large as cycling clothing usually isn't vanity sized like street clothes, and since I'm reliably a L in most cycling brands.. The jacket was too big in the torso, but oddly tight in the arms. I do not lift and don't have large arms for someone of my height/weight. Unfortunately had to return due to these sizing issues.

Snug fit
I haven't worn it on a ride and in the rain yet, but it is quite snug; that is why there are only 3 stars. After reading reviews that said the XLs came big, I went with the L. I should have gotten the XL. I'm 5-10, 195 (I wear a 42 R sport coat if that helps) and it is close fitting. I definitely can only wear this over one layer; I won't be able to wear this as a cold-weather rainer over warm layers. I will come back and give my thoughts about it as a raincoat once I actually wear it in the rain.

Good protection from rain, but sizing not quite right
Based on feedback from other users, I got a L. I should have followed my instinct and ordered a M. I'm male, 5'9, 130 lbs. Sleeves are a little long. Jacket a bit longer than I'd like but that's less of a problem. For safety reasons, it would also be nice if the jacket were more reflective, and were a neon green or orange rather than yellow, though yellow is still pretty decent as far as visibility is concerned.

Light, handy, a good windbreaker.
Hard to believe given that it does sort of feel like paper, but it seems pretty durable and provides good warmth on cool biking days. Cuts the wind well and the sleeves are tight enough to prevent them flapping around. It is a bit bulkier than absolutely optimal, but still I could stuff it into the back pocket of my bike shirt when it had to come off. Haven't tried it in the rain yet. It looks wrinkled all of the time (even having been on a hanger for weeks) if you care. Generally I am quite pleased with it.

They also do a great job of keeping out the wind
I have gone through 2 of these jackets. They are very waterproof. They also do a great job of keeping out the wind. The fabric tears easily and I have been using yellow duct tape to repair. I am now ready for my 3rd. I only wear a woman's size 8/10, but I ordered a large to leave room for a fleece jacket underneath, also because the fabric is delicate, I don't want to add extra pressure from taking it on and off. I love this jacket and use it frequently.
