Very easy to use. Perfect way to seal a large bag of dog food.
Works great for large bags of dog kibble. Once in place it works perfectly to carry heavy bags of dog food. Very easy to put in place. Press as much air out of the bag as you can. Fold the top of the bag over a few inches. Slide the handle through and under the fold. When I need more dog food from the bag I slide the handle back about 6 inches and then back in place to seal the bag again. Very simple. You don’t need a lot of strength to use this. Another review mentioned breaking fingernails while trying to use the product. She must not understand how to use it because there is no need to pry or use fingernails. The sealer glides in place as you guide and push/slip it in place. It’s not fair to give a bad review to products when the problem is user error.

These work very well. They are hard to get started but with a bit of effort it gets going.

These are the best. I had bought the smaller ones and then bought these. They are great for my big bags of bird seed.

does not work for large bags of dog food
Despite product description, these do not work on a 31-pound bag of dog food. The bag used for Purina One 31.1 pound bag is just too thick for the gripsticks.

Ants were able to get inside
This is great for carrying large bags of pet food. It is not great for avoiding pests specifically ants from getting inside. I was super disappointed to lose a large bag of just opened dog food to ants. I never thought anything could get inside but I was wrong.

Gripstic handles are very handy
I've only had to use the gripstic heavy duty handle set once so far. It worked out great for carrying 13 to 15 lb of cat food.

These are great!
We use the big one to keep our massive dog food bag closed and it’s great! Makes carrying/moving super easy and their food stays fresh

I use my 17-inch Gripstic bag sealer to seal large dog food bags, keeping food fresh. The airtight seal extends the life of food by locking out air, moisture, and heat. My dog kibble at the bottom of the bag used to become smelly, which can lead to rancidity and mold growth. The 17-inch Gripstic bag sealer is a must have for dog owners.
