Awesome! I am doing a Charlotte Mason Education with my 6 and 5 year old girls. This is perfect!I bought 2.It has 43 stories if I counted correctly.Cover is good quality.The inside paper is good quality.The only downside I have is that the amount of writing skips around. I would like to see less writing in the beginning and longer passages toward the end. But I would not dock a star for it. I can easily skip around in the book.I am 10 stars satisfied with this product.Thanks Wildflower Press!-Homeschool Mom of 3.

Edit to add: I originally sent my review in with pictures and videos of the crude language on every single page. Im guessing it was probably flagged for being inapropriate. F-word spelt out on multiple pages along with almost every other curse word you could think ofAn adult language warning would have been nice on this product. Not exactly the morals I want my 2nd grader learning. Would have given it negative stars if I could have.

I’ve enjoyed using this as a supplement. My goal was to help build my second grader’s hand and arm muscles through copywork. It’s a stress-free way to work on handwriting, spelling, and focus. I have her use this book twice a week. She will read the fable aloud to me and we discuss it. I was surprised at how much decoding and vocabulary practice we got out of it. It’s also very helpful to teach making inference and idioms.

I enjoyed the variation in passages (some are long, some short, some have large vocabulary and others short simple words)However, the pages differ with some being traceable and others are just there to copy. Also the font sizing varies too which is mildly irritating.Overall a nice copywork book to use for homeschooling!

Perfect for my 2nd grader who doesn't necessarily love to write. It's to the point & we love reading the fable that goes with the passage. Short, but sweet copy work. Perfect for hesitant writers.

Exactly as described. My daughter read the fable and copied the moral. There don't seem to be many prebound and printed copywork books out there, so I am happy to have found this one. I counted 43 fables with copywork. Most are a short sentence like this one, but a few were longer.

I was so tired of scrounging up copy work passages for my year 2 student. He read these fables last year and is enjoying them all over again. Each fable is written out fully on the left-hand size of the page and the moral and lines to copy are on the right hand page. Very nicely done!

Excellent copywork book. My son reads the fable and then copies the moral. Great for his handwriting practice.
