Good Quality
Good quality and price, Prefect!I was impressed with these earmuffs ---light weight,ultra-low profile ear cups with rubberized coating finish ,comfort and performance. The noise reduction is fantastic. Every time I shoot, They are like high powered hearing aids but block loud noises up close, the sound will be lowered, but the other sounds don't go away. That is to say, I can still hear the voice of people or animals while I’m shooting.I can clearly tell the direction of the sound during using,How wonderful it is. Not like other earmuff, it can provide me a better hunting environment.this is a real professional shooting earmuffs.Highly recommend!

Good...
Look and feel like more expensive muffs. Adjustable head band and pretty comfortable. They do get a little static feedback once in a while. Sound quality is ok. Overall they are good, but don't expect the same sound quality as a brand 2-3 times the price of these.

Poor design battery door
Reason for one star is the battery door was defective and falls off. All th time while shooting.

Good quantify and cheap price
It is very good. The price is cheaper than others, but the effect is as much as well as others. Recommend it to the people who need it.

Good Value
Initial Review 14 August 2019The bottom line is these electronic ear muffs work well and do the job. They are a good value at $38 on Amazon. I'm sure much more expensive ear muffs could do a better job but these are quite reasonable for the price. If you want more information about my testing read on.My wife and I like to target shoot two to four times each month. We already have electronic ear muffs so I thought we would be ideal people to review this Norland set. We selected this one for our son or other guests at the range. The first thing I noticed about this set is it came with a 3.5mm audio cable with the suggestion to hook them up to a cell phone. I was curious so I did. The on/off switch must be in the On position but the volume of music coming from the phone is not controlled by the ear muffs; rather it is the phone that controls the audio volume of the music. Very interesting. The quality of the ear muffs playing music from the phone is not very good, but it is usable. The next thing I noticed is these ear muffs press quite tightly against me. I find them a little uncomfortable and there is no apparent way to reduce the pressure. Ear muffs must be tight to make a good seal and keep the loud snap of a pistol going off. But our other electronic ear muffs work fine and they are not as tight. The basic operation of electronic ear muffs is to allow lower volume noise to pass through to the wearers ears while reducing the loud gunshot sound. This allows two shooters to comfortably converse while still protecting the ears from the gunshots. At the range...I took my wife's Springfield 9mm, which is our loudest pistol, to the range along with our current electronic ear muffs (Howard Leight by Honeywell Impact Sport Sound Amplification Electronic Shooting Earmuff, Teal (R-02521), and this Bochamtec Norland Rubberized Coating Electronic Earmuff, Hearing Protection Noise Auto Compress & Reduction Sound Amplification,NRR25In order to test these two ear muffs relative to each other I wanted the voice level sound to be equal. I left the radio on in my SUV, put each ear muff on, turned them on and adjusted the volume to the same comfortable listening level.I then put on one set, fired five rounds, switched to the other ear muff, fired five rounds, and did this cycle twice. As far as sound deadening when the pistol was fired I sensed no difference between the two. The voice level volume was also pretty much the same. One thing I did notice about the Norland ear muffs was if I made a noise, such as snapping the lid of the pistol case shut, there would be a momentary deadening of sound from the ear muffs. That is not the behavior of our current ear muffs. I don't think this is a problem as it generally doesn't interfere with using the ear muffs, it's just a slight difference.I wish I'd brought along a .22 which makes more of a high pitched "crack" sound than the 9mm which is more of a "boom" sound. Still the method of operation is to suppress anything over 85dB so it should work as well with either type of pistol shot. The advertising material mentions "two independent on/off" switch controls but there is only one.I do recommend these ear muffs.

Work well, highly recommended
I was sceptical that these would be any good but they work a treat, loud noises while decorating are muted whilst speech is audible. Recommended.
