Great piece for the price! Attractive. Doors and drawers open and shut nicely. Adjustable shelves are handy. Pay close attention when assembling. The details matter or the doors won't close correctly. I did it wrong the first time, but it was easy enough to fix. Not hard to assemble, but they could use clearer instructions. All pieces were clearly labeled which was great! I would buy this again.

Dislikes: 1. Shipping of kitchen cabinet was awful. I received only the second box of two late but the had to wait nearly three weeks for the first box of two. Everything finally arrived together but would span 4 weeks and materials would remain waiting for 4 weeks.2. Materials were scattered between the two boxes which made assembly difficult searching to gather parts to assemble each step in order.3. Instructions are essentially diagrams only. Very little written explanations or helpful hints.Likes: 1. All parts identified clearly.2. Parts needed were supplied and in good condition,3. Assembly went well and worked well when assembled.4. Wife was happy with her new kitchen cabinet, “Looks good John...Thank you”

Be prepared to struggle your way through the assembly. There are directions but they were not at all clear, to us anyway. It took us several hours to assemble. If it weren't for the material being marked and the checklist it would have seemed impossible.However, now that it's assembled it's all good. It looks great and the rollers function properly. The drawers are specious and the shelves are adjustable. We love it now that it's all assembled.

The media could not be loaded. I will never do business with this seller again! The countertop arrived warped, so much so that there were major gaps between the top and the island. I went back and forth many times with GIANTEX via Amazon message. They simply do not listen. They said they could not/would not send a replacement top; instead that offered me $70. The countertop is made specifically for this island; you can’t just go somewhere and buy another. Back and forth, back and forth we went. I requested a full refund. I told them I got rid of it all, because it was of no use to me. I told them I was going somewhere local to buy an island. I said I did not want another island, due to the inferior quality and because I didn’t want to possibly have the same problem. They told me if I sent the entire island back, including the warped counter, they would send me a brand new one that would arrive in about 7 to 9 days. I told them they weren’t listening to me. Even if I did keep that island, there is no way I would be able to send it back with the prepaid labels they offered to send me. It came into very large specific size boxes, which, which one a pot and throwing away. There is no way I could possibly find boxes of that size and then pack all the many, many pieces and bring them somewhere to be shipped. The boxes were so heavy that I asked the delivery man to please bring them in my house, because I couldn’t lift them. I again requested a full refund, probably for about the fifth time they have since stopped communicating with me. What happened to the customer is always right? I do believe that giantess thinks I am trying to get a free island from them, which is definitely not the case. I sent them many pictures to show them, the warped countertop. I definitely recommend that you do not buy a product from GIANTEX, first due to a possible inferior product, like I received; and secondly, due to horrible communication with them—their not hearing what you are saying and offering ridiculous and impossible solutions instead of issuing a refund. I am a very positive person and rarely complain. But when something like this happens, I need to speak up so that others don’t experience the same thing. Buyer beware!UPDATE: GIANTEX finally came through weeks later and issued a refund.

This kit was sent in two separate packages, on two different dates. It wasn't so easy to assemble, but once done it looks great and stores large and small items well. It looks great in our kitchen. The drawers are shallow, but the shelving is adjustable to fit various cooking items and mixing bowls, large and small.

I think they decided to use pictures to assemble this thing because kids aren't being taught how to read and write in the public schools. That being said, if they are going to use pictures to assemble things like this, the least they could do is make them clearer! Poorly pictured instructions, but once I got the thing assembled, everything looked good and all the holes were there and in the correct places. All the hardware was there. (one defective screw). I think most of the people complaining about the drawers not closinging and hitting the top or the doors not closing correctly are reading the pictures wrong or missing important information hidden in the pictures. It helps to lay all the parts from both seperatly shipped cartons out before you begin and then carefully go over the hieroglghics before you begin. Good luck!

I love this well made Island. It took some time to assemble but it looks great. lots of good storage space.

While the assembly wasn't the easiest, I was able to donit alone in about 2 hours. It definitely does what we need it to do BUT for the cost, it is quite a bit more flimsy than we were expecting. Definitely not something we will be moving around much. It is pretty and again, will serve it's purpose. The other weird thing is that it came in two separate shipments a few days apart and were shipped through both UPS and FedEx.
