Even if the thigh toner moves in only a couple of inches, you still will be working your thigh muscles. To increase the intensity, perform slow repetitions or pause at the top of the squeezing motion during each repetition.To Work Your Arms and ChestStep 1 Grip the handles of the thigh toner with your hands, holding it in front of you. You can sit or stand. Step 2 Ensure that when you push inward the toner is positioned correctly, so that the middle of the "V" shape pushes outward, not inward toward your chest. Step 3 Push the handles together while allowing your elbows to move out toward your sides.Step 4 Complete 15 to 20 repetitions. This exercise will target your chest muscles.

Works great!!!!
I just broke (after 30 years) my Susan Sommers Original thigh master so I decided to go pink and get this one. It is a bit smaller but MAN, what a difference in the spring being new compared to my old one!! I can really feel the tension on this! GREAT FOR THE PRICE, and if you do this daily....ladies, it does work!!

Easy. Noisy.
I got this to work my inner thighs - I'm no body builder, but I have to do about a million compressions to feel the burn. Also, this thing is NOT quiet. Each rep you do, the spring inside squawks inside the plastic casing, which is both annoying and indiscreet. If you do it at just the right rhythm, it sure sounds like naughty things going on from behind a closed door - so if you live with others, prepare to share a few giggles.

Was really upset when I received this item. I was looking forward to using it right away, and as I opened it, the plastic part that holds it together, was already cracked.

This is the strong one I was looking for.
I have been using thighmaster type exercisers for years and won't be without one. Most of them are too weak for me, as I am a male workout-aholic. I most often use them at night while watching TV, first between my knees for 200 reps, then with the arms for 200 reps. Sometimes I add to it with overhead reps. I have never spent more than $12 for one, so this is my experience with those.I have had 2 complaints about them over the years.1. They snap in two while using after a couple of years, maybe because of all the use I give them.2. Most aren't strong enough for me to feel like I've gotten a good workout, and they take lots of reps to do it. Since Amazon sells so many styles, I think they should rate them for resistance so we could compare them, instead of buying with trial and error.This is the strongest one I've had and fits my needs perfectly. If it breaks after a couple of years, that's still inexpensive advertising.

I'll get there, not giving up
Takes a big muscle to retract this item. To strong for me to use for after a stroke for strengthening my weak side for now. My goal is to get to the point where I can bend this device💪🏽

Supposed to be hard to squeeze together...
It's supposed to be hard to squeeze together!!! You can use this for your pectoral muscles (chest) or your inner thighs just for a few resistance moves. It is a very useful tool that works if you are persistent! Padded. Well made.

Save your money.. and invest in something else.
You are better off doing squats than trying to finagle with this piece of plastic. It is hard to move as is, then you put it between your thighs to workout and it moves around everywhere and tries to hit you in the face. Better use as a paperweight than exercise equipment.

Glad I received before June
I love my thigh master and hopefully I will be in shape before it gets hot here, I really need a body trainer or weight trainer. The older I get the more I realize I should have become a professional dancer and I wouldn't be so out of shape. I have received this already I am not sure why it didn't post review.

Pop up fun, careful
Warring first. Before you take the plastic off the product!! It will pop open very fast and hard LOLIt could hurt you like me...Other than that product is okayOnce you get use to it, as everyone is different for it at your own pace, it is a little hard.Start slowly.
