I had to replace my old stapler because it was stolen by a workman. The first one was defective and was returned. This one is better than the stolen one. A pleasure to use.

For whatever reason one of my boys decided to try to "save" the spring that was "trapped" in the stapler. Needless to say, I had to replace the stapler after that stunt. This stapler is just as great as all of my other Swingline staplers we have owned over the years. It is DURABLE and works well. It opens up to staple things to a bulletin board, etc. I'm keeping this stapler out of the line of sight of the culprit who thought the spring was "trapped" in the other stapler. He gets an A+ for creativity, but has had to work off the cost of the new stapler. I forgave many other things that have been busted, but this time I told him he had extra chores to make up for it. He is now aware that before he feels the need to "rescue" anything again, he must ask ME first. Lol Great stapler. I WOULD purchase it again.
