Liquitex BASICS Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 3.78L (128-oz) Tub, White

Flawless product. This works incredibly well! The value is great, the coverage is great, the texture is smooth, and the color is a solid, true white. I used this to cover a mass market print on a very large canvas. The print had lots of dark lines and colors, but even with that, this gesso covered the entire print perfectly in two coats. I'm extremely satisfied with this product and will absolutely buy again when I need more, but this will last quite a while because I still have a ton left over after two coats on a 3'x5' canvas!! The handle is such a nice touch for carrying, and the lid closes tightly and securely.10/10, highly recommend.

You can't go wrong with liquitex. The gesso spreads well and is thick enough to give you a good, even coat with a few layers. It is a lot of gesso too so it'll last multiple paintings. Overall, great product.

Great quality. It goes on canvas nicely. Thickness gives great coverage. And it dries fairly quick.

Good no-frills gesso at a reasonable price.

This is a great!!! I make clay pieces but sometimes get a bit impatient to wait for it to dry so I cover it w gesso which stops any more moisture from getting into the clay. I will say however that the paint does tend to peel after two layers which is disappointing

What I love about Gesso is how easy it is to apply. I just brush it on with a wide, flat brush, and it dries quickly, giving me a perfect surface to work on. It helps seal the material, preventing paint from soaking in too much and ensuring the colors pop. Plus, it gives the surface a slightly textured feel, which is great for both acrylic and oil paints.

I love the quality of Liquitex paint products. This gesso goes on very smoothly , and does a wonderful job!
