The continuation of the Never Never series. Review: Suspenseful, mysterious, romantic and completely satisfying! - Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher ended Never Never with a killer cliffhanger that left thousands of readers desperate for more of Charlie and Silas. If you are anything like me, you’ve probably been wondering, “Where is Charlie?” Never Never: Part 2 is very satisfying, and although it’s not the conclusion to the series, I’m delighted to share it completely surpassed my expectations! Once again, we find Colleen Hoover writing the chapters for Silas Nash. Sigh. Out of all of her male characters, Silas Nash is my favorite. I love his passion. His intensity and determination. His fierce love for Charlie. “Never forget that I was your first real kiss. Never forget that you’ll be my last. And never stop loving me between all of them. Never stop, Charlie. Never forget.” Silas is a young man who will not be deterred. He's smart. Determined to find Charlie. Determined to find out why he and Charlie continue to lose their memory. Tarryn Fisher continues to be the voice of Charlie Wynwood. Even with no memories, Charlie is a very perceptive young lady. She’s a strong protagonist who – underneath all of her bravado – can also be a little vulnerable. Readers, like myself, who are somewhat familiar with Tarryn Fisher? I think we all see a little bit of Tarryn in Charlie. Just like Silas, we were all left scratching our head, wondering what could have happened to Charlie at the end of Never Never. Since we begin Part 2 with a reset, Charlie has no real answers. It was a brilliant way to keep the mystery of “Where is Charlie?” alive. Plain and simple – I absolutely loved Never Never: Part 2. This story is everything I had hoped for. Everything I had been anticipating. More often than not, the second novel of a trilogy is the weakest installment. Not with Never Never: Part 2. It’s honestly one of the best middle books that I have ever read. It appears to be well thought out. It’s full of classic writing from Hoover and Fisher. Really – anytime you read a story written by either of these authors, you can expect the writing to be exemplary, but it’s also seamless. The story is narrated by Silas and Charlie, the authors choosing to alternate points of view by chapter. The difference in writing styles feels completely natural because each protagonist has a unique personality. My emotions were all over the place while I was reading Never Never: Part 2. It was thrilling. I was anxious and confused. It even had me in tears. From beginning to end, the story is creative and dramatic. Mysterious. Intriguing. Romantic. Part 1 of Never Never left my mind in a whirlwind – I had questions on top of questions after I finished reading. Have you ever been subjected to information overload? We are given a boatload of information in Never Never: Part 2. Theories are laid to rest. Questions are answered. Never Never: Part 2 has a satisfying conclusion that left my mind at ease, and I am nothing but hopeful for Silas and Charlie in the final book of the trilogy. Lots of novels receive a 5-star rating. When I review a novel, I sometimes do something a little more. If a 5-star novel deserves more than that rating, if I feel it has something extra-special, I give it a bonus star. Never Never: Part 2 falls directly into this category. 6 stars for Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher! Review: 3.5 Stars!! - Maybe I should have waited to read these books, until I could get my hands on all of them. It’s so frustrating because I really like to read all the way through until there is a resolution or whatever. This book is more. More clues, more questions, more mystery, more Silas, more Charlie (Sammy in this case), more confusion, more more more. What the FECK (In my Irish accent) is going on?!! And hello, is everyone paying attention to the covers? Two hands… One hand…… No hands? Maybe? No? Okay, I just thought that I’d remind you how this all looks. I did like this one better than the first, simply because there was a lot going on. Silas is back after waking once again with no memory. After absorbing little details about what he knows, he does some more searching – because Charlie is MIA and he needs to find her. There is more than just some memory loss going on here. That part was clear the moment we get Charlie’s POV. She’s being held prisoner (no other word appropriate) and doesn’t remember anything. Silas is trying to figure out what happened to Charlie after she declined the cab ride home the night before. And then there’s the tension between their families to deal with. Now the police have Silas’ backpack with all of the letters and some of Charlie’s journal entries, letters from her dad, etc…. courtesy of Charlie’s sister. Everyone is thinking of the fact that Silas has been acting strange so therefore he has something to do with her disappearance. Silas tells his brother what has been happening to him and Charlie, and he needs someone on his side to help find Charlie before the cops throw him in jail. But it all seems like something to do with Charlie’s former house. Someone went through a lot of trouble to make Charlie and Silas forget. There’s not much to spoil here. I wish that I had the next / last(?) book, because I hate this torture. Teasing torture, is what this whole thing is. Still, liked it and I need the next book because that cliffhanger just makes you want more. I’m happy to note that I am looking forward to seeing just what is going on here. I was a little apprehensive at first, but now I need it – you know, for closure purposes :-) If you are looking for some mystery in your reading, these little gems are what you need. It’s like playing Clue!

5 out of 5 Stars
Completely out of the blue, Silas Nash wakes up in his car, and find that all his memory has escaped him. he has no idea who he is or what he is doing. However, upon glancing into the car's glove department, he finds hastily handwritten notes explaining that he and a certain Charlie Wynwood are under some kind of spell, leading them to a total loss of memory every 48 hours, so the two of them captured all they could find in those notes. But the notes also say that Charlie went missing, and there is no telling where she could be. Charlie and Silas probably broke up because of a quarrel between their families, sending Charlie's father to jail. Yet Silas is determined to look for this person he doesn't know, but feels intrinsically connected to. And as the story unfolds, it turns out that there might be more to their family quarrel than the two of them thought. "So what's the deal with us? Are we like... in love and s***?" I laugh out loud for the first time since yesterday morning. "Yeah," I say, still laughing. "Apparently I've been in love and s*** with you for eighteen years now." What I loved about this book: Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher write a book together. Pure awesomeness. Super suspenseful and unusual storyline Interesting characters What I felt needed improvement: I needed to re-read Part One to really get back into the story The story is fairly short Huge cliffhanger (release part for sequel unknown!) Yay! Never Never: Part Two finally released and it's a masterpiece born from the collaboration of two very talented authors: Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. Please note that Never Never: Part Two is the sequel to Never Never , and you will need to have read Never Never prior to launching into its sequel. Oh and make sure you read it not too long ago, because I was completely lost when I picked up the sequel a few months after having read the first part. I had forgotten so many details (and it was a disturbing/confusing read as it is), that I had to actually re-read the last third of Part One to make sure I remembered what the deal was. It is very rare for me to give sequels a higher rating than original books, but in this case, the authors really nailed the sequel. Everything, from pace to storyline, was just perfect. Well, that is if you forget about the massive cliffhanger in the end of the book. If you were looking fr a lighthearted, sexy read - you won't find this here. But what you will likely find is angst ans suspense, and a whole lot of emotions. I absolutely loved how heartfelt the read was compared to Part 1: I loved how the characters had no idea who they were, but still felt a sense of belonging to each other even though life apparently (and from what they found out) brutally tore them apart. "I've enclosed some pictures I want you to go through. Hopefully they'll remind you of what we could have again someday. A love that wasn't dictated by our parents or defined by our family status. A love we couldn't stop if we tried. A love that got us through some of the hardest moment of our lives." While in book 1, I really disliked Silas, and was completely on team Charlie's side, this book was completely different. Although the writing was alternating their points of view, Never Never: Part 2 was much more focused on Silas, and totally put him in a different light... and kind of cast a bad light on Charlie. That "other point of view" was highly interesting, and I really wonder what Part Three (the last installment in the series) will bring the couple. "I would give anything to have that memory back - to see what it was like between us when we loved each other enough to believe it was forever." All in all, I'm definitely recommending this read and will be looking forward to Part Three.

LOOOOVE IT!
Shel: WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Hmmm. Page 1 of this installment and ... ...so I just went with it, right? Court: Right! Right. Sort of. I went with it and then I'd get super anxious. Why? Because freaking Charlie was missing and Silas couldn't find her and I needed answers, like YESTERDAY. Court: *Pssst, isn't she hilarious. Answers? What are those! We aren't getting answers...this is only part 2...but it was sooooooooo fracking fun to read, y'all* Where the hell is Charlie? What the hell is going on? WHO DID THIS?!!!! Did I get these answers? NOOOO. But, I have the utmost hope that we are finally going to get them. I am a broken record, I know. The simple answer, without spoiling, is YES. Yes I got answers. But even more questions! Could we be more vague? I doubt it. But, y'all read this. Because the story telling is so good. I am so in love with these two authors right now. The writing is beautiful, and fluid, and I am so in love with Silas's character, but there is enough bad that these two are both almost our anti-esque characters that we know and love. We love to love people in books who do things that defy logic in their actions, but we root for them anyways. This is how I feel with these two. I think their choices have made some bad things happen, and I love trying to get to the bottom of why! But I didn't get all of the answers and I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS. And when I got to the last page and it ended? Welp. I had this reaction: But not in a bad way..just in an anxious, I want answers, what's happening next kinda way. I am so ready for the next installment, but patience is a virtue. Right? RIGHT? S*** So to sum up-- I was completely angst-ridden during my reading. Girl, I am up in the middle of the night! I got answers. Yes. I still have questions. Ditto. I want to know more. Couldn't have said it better myself. I love the Colleen + Tarryn paired writing. The two of them together is magic. I am super excited about what's going to happen next. The grand finale will be grand. AND....read this book or else..... YES! Yes! Yes! Read this series. It is quick. It is mostly painless. And you won't regret it! In our review of book 1 I had predictions. I don't know if my brain will even function enough to let me predict..but....I suspect foul play..which isn't really a prediction is it?! I seriously don't know what or even how to predict what's coming next. It's a mystery and surprise and I really love that it's so unpredictable because it's rare, these days, to find this quality in books. It IS RARE to find something that intrigues us so. There is a lot of mystery, and I think that is what makes it so fun. We get so little for such a big reward, and I am feeling and wanting so many things right now that I CAN'T FREAKING TELL YOU because that would be a spoiler, and I'm supposed to avoid those, so I suppose that I can't freaking tell you. S***. BUT, a couple of references to the authors other works made me smile, and I am so happy right now even if that cliffy was huge. Grand canyon huge. It was worth it! Happy reading. Yes, yes!

3.5 Frustrated Stars
I’m about to go on a bit of a rant so you have my permission to stop reading my review now. I’ll wait. I’m getting a bit sick of this trend where authors take a really good concept but rather than write one excellent book they stretch the story out into a series of novellas. As a reader I feel annoyed by having to wait weeks or even months in between releases. I’m super pissed with the amount of money I fork over purchasing each individual book in the series. Don’t even get me started on how manipulated I feel by the cliffhangers that keep me coming back for more like a damned junkie. Some of these frustrations may unfairly color my opinions of this book. Never Never was originally intended to be two parts and I was fine with that. I read the first book, loved it, 1-clicked the second book. Then they announced there would be a Never Never: Part Three. What the hell?! Well, I drank the Kool-Aid so here I am. I thought Never Never: Part One was fantastic. It’s heart pounding, fascinating, and it kept me guessing throughout. I was blown away by the fact that it was written by two authors. Tarryn Fisher wrote Charlie’s chapters and Colleen Hoover wrote Silas’ chapters. Their writing styles are seamless and their storytelling is on point. In Never Never: Part Two Silas races to find Charlie in the 48-hour time period before they both lose their memory again. I wish I could say I loved this book as much as the first one but I it didn’t quite measure up. The story is still told from both Silas and Charlie’s POVs but the bulk of the narrative belongs to Silas. The authors seem to have lost their consistency this time around and the storytelling feels incredibly disjointed. I’m not sure what the hell Tarryn Fisher was doing when she wrote this. She could have been writing another book and simultaneously texting Charlie’s story with her right hand for all I know. Her chapters are extremely short and choppy. It’s time for lunch. Eat your spaghetti. Take your medicine. Sleep. Next chapter. Dream. Next chapter. Eat. Take more drugs. Sleep. Next chapter. Go to the bathroom. You get the picture. Colleen Hoover is much more successful in telling Silas’ tale. More of Silas and Charlie’s history is revealed and a few discoveries are made that may be keys to unlocking the mystery surrounding their memory loss. The story is still engrossing and the book is definitely a page-turner. I just wish the authors wrapped everything up in this book.

Read and reviewed before the 3rd book came out. I could not wait to get my hands on this book after reading the first Never Never and I had it pre-ordered from Amazon. I happened to be at work when I received an email at midnight on the 17th saying that the book had been delivered to my kindle. I was working an overnight shift and I didn't have my kindle with me (which never happens) so I did the only thing that I could. I read the entire thing on my phone in one sitting on one break. Yes it was that important, that good, and that quick. I need more now! This series is so unique and so engaging that I don't know if I can survive another wait for the next book. It was hard enough for this one and the cliffhanger is even better in Never Never Part 2. Things get even stranger, more questions are formed and the plot thinkens dramatically. I am dying to know how everything plays out. I am normally pretty good at guessing but not in this case. It has left me clueless and frustrated. The frustrated part comes from not having the next book in hand to read! When is Never Never Part 3 coming out??? If you haven't read these books you really need to. Hoover and Fisher have done a fantastic job of co-writing a fabulously engaging and unique story that fans of all different genres will be sure to enjoy. I am loving this series but hating the wait for the next book.

Charlie & Silas
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - Every 48 hours Silas & Charlie lose their memories & they are still searching for answers. Smart kids, forget that they are in high school, they leave themselves notes so that each time they are confused they can quickly put the puzzle pieces together & move forward from that point. I appreciated that, didn't feel like rehashing what we already knew. Silas finds old letters in Charlie's attic & my God, my heart melted when I found out where Never Never originated: Charlie's non-love letter to Silas. She doesn't love it when he takes care of her, hates it when he stops kissing her just to tell her she's pretty, he is not good looking. *Sigh* Young love! The letter ends with Charlie telling Silas that she's not in love, not at all, never never. :) Silas writes back & you can tell that Silas has loved Charlie for a very, very long time. "You make normal love hard. You make me psycho-love you." LOL But from the letters Charlie & Silas broke up when Charlie became bitter & angry, a bully, after her dad was sent to prison & they lost their home. We know Charlie's dad went to prison for fraud but there is definitely more to the story. Apparently there is an incriminating file on her dad somewhere that would put him in prison for good. All this time Charlie is being locked away & drugged, seems like she's in an institution somewhere. The book is extremely fast paced & interesting but three-quarters of the book are done without any face-to-face action with our main characters. But that is when the great stuff actually happens - I have a suspicion that the tarot card reader & her voodoo magic & the old plantation, & maybe even Silas' dad have something to do with this crazy memory loss problem. But I love that they dream about each other, realizing now that these are memories that are coming to them in their sleep, & when they finally embrace it should be as total strangers but it isn't. They recognize each other's souls if that isn't too corny. Silas wraps his arms around Charlie & thinks, "When she disappeared, part of me must have disappeared right along with her. Because this is the first time I feel like me." I would have liked more answers & much more interaction between Silas & Charlie.

A suspense romance with enough angst to make you explode with feels!
I bought this book yesterday and immediately just HAD to read it all asap. Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher know how to write a suspense romance with enough angst to make you explode with feels! Hoover is one of my favorite Author's. She knows how to write, specially angsty romance! These Never Never books are the only ones I have ever read by Tarryn Fisher though and after getting a glimpse at her writing and researching her books, I just bought my first copy of one of her books (Marrow) . These two ladies know how to write and I have always been nervous about two authors working together but these two make it work, and wonderfully! Part 2 of Never Never starts off right where book one left us. Silas has now once again lost his memory, only this time Charlie is missing and has no idea what is going on. Now Silas must race against time to find her before all this happens again for the 5th time, but it's not easy when you don't even know exactly who your looking for, or who you are, or what the hell is going on. In Never Never my favorite aspect besides the dreamy Silas (where can I find a boyfriend like him!), is the fact that as they are running around trying to find out who they are and what's going on we follow them every step of the way, learning as they learn. It builds the suspense and angst, making you feverishly turn the pages for more! There isn't as much interaction between Silas and Charlie in this book, but don't fret there's still some romance! The few interactions we do get I adored. Silas and Charlie are probably one of my favorite ships. Their love is epic and as people they are so real and raw, it's beautiful. I really can't wait to see what has happened to these two to make all this ordeal happen! Please Colleen & Tarryn don't make us wait to long! The suspense is PURE.TORTURE!

Entretanto, muitas outras ainda pairam... Sem sinal de qualquer resposta. Todavia, isso não me surpreendeu de maneira alguma. Não me surpreendeu e muito menos me decepcionou.
