Crown 280PM 5 Pieces Pro-PM Powder Metallurgy Woodturning Set

I bought these for my husbands as he's goteen far more advanced with his woodworking than his lame starter tools could keep up with. He's absolutely delighted with them. He's made several new projects and is so happy with their percormance and the results he's been getting with his work. "They cut through like butter!" He keeps saying. So glad they turned it to be worth the investment.

I bought this crown tool and i used it kess than two months. It brok yesterday. This tool is not good quality as they said.Please i need full refund or replacment of the tool

These were much more expensive than other sets that I considered. I finally came to the conclusion that it was better to purchase a smaller number of really high quality turning tools than a larger set of inferior quality.These tools are substantial, which means it will take decades before repeated sharpening will wear away the very hard, powder coated steel.As with all new turning tools, I recommend that the purchaser expect to go through a complete sharpening process out of the box.

Best tools

These are a brand name that was not familiar to me. I did some research and bought these for my husband for Christmas. They should hold an edge well and need less resharpening according to reviews. And they are beautiful! My husband will be out in the shop after the holidays giving them a workout on the lathe.

Due to the type of steel these are made from they feel much lighter than their cheaper counterparts. However, they do keep their edge longer and are a pleasure to use.
