Just buy it! You'll LOVE it
My chromebook is white. I think the picture has a black chromebook. In the picture, it looked to me like the keys were neon or glow in the dark or something. That made me a bit hesitant to order it. I didn't want to go blind because of key covers. I figured I would just send it back if I didn't like it. Well, I LOVE it! It's not neon at all. I ordered a green casing for my chromebook and this green key cover is the same green. So not bright and not neon. Also, because mine is white, I don't have that grey looking background that is in the picture. My daughter put the keyboard protector on for me in about 5 seconds, and had I not known that the keys didn't come in green, I wouldn't have known that there was a cover on the keys. It fits over the keys perfectly. Again, my chromebook is white so the clear part of the cover that is between the keys is barely visible. I just bought it because I love green and I just wanted my keys to match my case. However, an added bonus that I didn't realize when I ordered is that it will also protect against dust and stains. I'm a bit of a germophobe. I like that I can clean off this cover easily without stripping the letters off my keys and can keep my original board clean.I also kinda like the feel of the silicone. It has a nice grip to it.

This has been a great addition to my Chromebook.
The cover fits snugly on the keyboard and doesn't fall off when flipping the screen around to use as a tablet. To test the fit, I held the Chromebook completely upside down and shook it fairly hard without the cover falling off. Definitely don't need to worry about it coming off during normal use or while manipulating the screen around. It's also been doing a good job of keeping dirt and junk from getting under or between the keys, which is important since often times I will lay the Chromebook keyboard-side down. The cover has a nice rubbery feel to it while I type. It was a little strange at first, but now that I'm used to it, it's nice.I got the black one, which doesn't look exactly like the photo, because the photo has a slight blue tinge to it. This cover has black keys with clear parts everywhere else. It looks great, and you probably wouldn't be able to tell it isn't part of the original device if you didn't know any better.UPDATE 7/8/2018:I have been using this product for a little over a year now, and at some point it stretched enough from regular use that it no longer grips to the keys when the Chrombook is flipped upside down.It hasn't torn or gotten scratched at all, however, and still looks just as good as it did the day I got it, but won't stay on the cbook while in tablet mode.

Stays in Great, But It's A Dust Magnet
The keyboard cover fit on perfectly, and took little to no adjustment to get it to align properly over my keys.Although it aligns properly, the spacebar feels like there's a gap between the cover and the keycap, causing the key to not press. This could also just be an inherent flaw of the Chromebook's spacebar, causing the key to press but not the fully trigger the membrane underneath. The cover tapers off towards the bottom row, meaning your wrists won't be resting on a lip from the cover.I've yet to clean it, but just from having it for a few hours I can already tell that it's picking up a lot of crumbs and dust. The problem with it accumulating debris is that it's hard to pick off without taking the cover off and shaking it out.I've also yet to properly clean it, i.e. running water over it and letting it dry, although I believe it would be a breeze.TL;DR - Keycover is great and definitely worth it, although it'll take a bit to get used to, 4 stars.

Amazing, adorable, good fit
I was wavering on buying this, because it's a bit unnecessary-- the chromebook has some pretty flat keys and doesn't seem like much could get under them, but I'm so glad I splurged on this. It looks SO COOL, and fits perfect-- it went on straight on the first try and hasn't moved since. It gives the keys the tiniest fraction of extra resistance, which I'm cool with, and it has a soft touch kind of like a lot of rubberized phone cases do, which again, I think is pretty awesome. I had only considered its utility for preventing crumbs/dust/etc but it honestly seems like it would be a great frontline protection against liquid spills too-- getting any amount of water in your keyboard is the number one way to irreparably mess up the computer, you can usually prevent damage if it gets anywhere else on the top body of a laptop. I feel it was a LITTLE expensive for what it is but it was worth it for the longterm, I think.

Color started rubbing off on the 3rd day and left a gray residue on my keys!
I bought the gold one. The color started to come off on the 3rd day of use, so I'm use all the gold will be gone in a month and a half tops. Additionally, you get it to protect your keyboard. For some odd reason, when I took it off, my keys had a grey, cloudy substance on them! Which is pretty weird because it's just glossy silicone on the bottom, so it shouldn' t have been powder from the gold rubbing off. Finally, I just gave up and took it off permanently, took some baby wipes and got the stuff off my keys, which is scary because who wants to get their keys wet? That's the whole thing I want to avoid by buying this! Avoid the gold. The rainbow might be fine because the type of coloring needed on top, but the metallic of the gold is an epic fail. I'm wondering how the reviews could be so consistently good - it must be that the majority of the reviews are for the rainbow keys.

It's Perfect and Fits Like a Glove
Thank goodness for this product because the original keys on the keyboard are not backlit and are very dark in low light. With this product, it makes it 100 times easier to see the keyboard and, it's quite stylish too. I love the price point and how interchangeable this product is so I am thinking about ordering a couple more to change the keyboard up along the way. I definitely recommend this product.
