Does the handle have threading inside? Thanks!

Yes...it is further in. If the threaded part of your extension pole doesn't reach the threaded part inside the squeegee (which starts at 3.25" into the hole), just cut off that amount with a hack saw...doing this allows the threaded part to be at the very entrance of the squeegee which then you can thread any pole into it...it works with any pole including my "Wooster Sherlock" pole which initially didn't reach the threaded part. The only drawback is you have 3.25" less handle to grab if you're not using an extension pole... or you can always screw in a short handle from your painting equipment...no problema :) Hope this helps...happy cleaning. My pole is 12’, i don’t see any option of that. which one should i get? i just need the fiber because i lost it.

It is not threaded and cannot attach to my pole. How can this be rectified?

You have to buy a separate part. There is a wood peg that is smooth on one end and threaded on the other. I sent it back because of this.
