Useful little gizmo
Useful little gizmo to have on your desk. You can attach portable storage and recharge your devices.Additional bonus is that the ports on top are switchable and light up when on. (although the charging port on the end is neither switched nor lit for some reason)Would recommend

Great Multi-Port USB Hub!
The Atolla 7-port USB 3.0 hub is an excellent addition to any workspace, providing instant expansion and super-speed syncing with up to 5Gbps of data transfer rates. The updated 5V/4A power adapter ensures that large data transmissions are stable and fast, making it perfect for use with a variety of USB devices such as keyboards, mice, printers, and hard drives. What sets this USB hub apart from others is its smart charging port, which provides faster and safer charging for iPhones and iPads. With a maximum charging power of 2.4A, it's perfect for keeping your devices powered up and ready to go.The hub also features individual on-off switches for each USB port, allowing for greater control and placement of devices when not in use. Additionally, it's compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X (10.x or above), and Linux. Best of all, it's fully plug-and-play and doesn't require any drivers or software to work. The Atolla 7-port USB 3.0 hub comes with a 100cm USB cable length, a 5V/4A power adapter with a 120cm electrical cable length, and a quick setup guide. It's also backed by an 18-month warranty from Bauihr, giving you peace of mind and assurance of its quality. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient way to expand their USB capabilities and charge their devices.

Great product, reliable
I have had a few hubs, mostly unpowered USB hubs. I have probably tried 3 other powered USB hubs (one being an Attola), but I decided to go for it. The Atolla hub doesn’t scream quality to be honest, but most hubs like this are plastic, so this hub isn’t any worse than the rest. In fact, this hub is a great device. The others that I’ve tried have been nigh on useless, only allowing you to plug pen drives in and data cables. I have 3 external USB hard drives and I can plug all three in and they work perfectly, unlike the other hubs that cause your hard drives to click and fail to mount if you have more than one drive in at a time. They just didn’t have the power. This device is powered by a 5v 4a adapter (more amps than other hubs, this might be its success) and, touch wood, I have had no problems having all drives plugged in with a data cable to a phone. There are individual power buttons on the hub for each of the ports, which is handy (sometimes essential), if you don’t want all the devices plugged into the hub to start powering up all at once. The hubs USB cable is an adequate length (about a meter). There are however a few gripes I have about the hub. Why do companies have power adapters that are 1 metre in length. This has been my only issue with purchasing a powered USB hub. All the companies provide a ridiculous power cable length. It needs to be at least 6ft. The only other thing that is annoying is the light on the hub ports. When one is lit, the ones next to it get a faint light. This is obviously to keep cost down. Just one other, its expensive. In summary, I took the plunge with this hub, even with the high price, but it is a fantastic buy. I saw the reviews and was a bit hesitant at first, but the positive reviews far outweighed the negative. Its reliable, strong (despite the flimsy look) and even though the lights are not perfect, its good to have them. Power cable could be longer. Each port light needs to be isolated from the others. Apart from the negatives mentioned, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hub. Good job Atolla.

Solved USB devices disconnecting during gameplay
Working well so far. This solved a problem I was having with Star Citizen, where my USB devices would randomly drop out - and come back a few seconds later - after my ship crashed into the hangar. A bit more expensive (£27) than I was going to pay but it has a decent power, a charging port and a good length of cables compared with others (although I'd have liked longer for convenience).

Okay product on a fair price
I`m operating 3 LED lights from it, and occasionally using it to charge my smart watch and and old smart phone. No overheating/heating/melting so far.

Good charging device
I bought this purely as an extension lead to power multiple devices from a mains supply (UK). So far, it has performed as I'd expect. I rarely have all devices connected simultaneously, but on the rare times they are all drawing power, the hub has worked well. I have the following devices connected almost always simultaneously; Mobile phone, XBox controller charging dock, & 2 small speakers. I cannot offer any details on the combined power usage, but I haven't noticed any appreciable reduction in performance. I have not connected the hub to my computer, so cannot comment on its data speed etc. For what I got it for I'd say it is good value for money

What a great device
What a superb device, i wish i had bought this before. Ideal for desktops (especially when under desk), allows the use of multiple Slave drives and devices 100% recommend this product. I have used cheaper ones before without the requirements this one gives.

A smart looking, well made USB hub with individual power switches.
I did a bit of research and read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and I wasn't disappointed. Build quality is excellent and the switches are sturdy. Mine has just 3 USB plugged in presently so the other ports are turned off. It also has a charging USB at the end of the unit for phones etc.One of the main reasons for choosing this one is that it's 4A and not the usual 2 or 3A so there's a bit more oomph in it for powering HDDs. I have external HDDs plugged in and they are fine on their own although the larger Seagate 3Tb drive is plugged into the mains.I think that the combination of build quality, features, extra power and price makes this a worthwhile consideration for your next USB 3 hub.
