Sky, The: The Art Of Final Fantasy Slipcased Edition

These are great works of Art, presented in a beautiful case, heavy, bountiful and a wonder to own. HOWEVER I would have liked to have seen a wider array of more finalized art pieces featured, since many are in a draft/ beginning stage. I do not like all the artwork, although I appreciate the intelligence behind even the pieces I don't like. I would recommend this book, however, for anyone interested in both art and final fantasy if they bare the criticism I've made in mind.

Beautiful and excellent quality. My Final Fantasy geek son was in heaven. The characters/pictures are not named or titled and are original artwork rather than game images. Despite this, he was excited to identify the origins of various characters and found tonnes of familiar stuff. I don't play the game but still love browsing through these stunning illustrations.

The description of this book does not do it justice, not only was I shocked at how heavy and enormous it was, but also how much was actually included. I was expecting 1 book, 3 arrived snuggled cosily in a hard case made of printed fabric (or as my husband calls it "printed granny's knickers). The quality of print is lovely and the art work is stunning. It is a real talking piece, mostly because you need half a book shelf to hold it.As a Final Fantasy fan to the core and a Yoshitaka Amano lover, this really does appeal to me, his whimsical sketches and paintings really capture the very fantastic nature that makes up the games.I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the games.

Stunning collection of Art from a legendary artist! Was worth every penny. Each page is crystal clear and of excellent quality. The packaging is GORGEOUS.Only downside was I think Final Fantasy X, it only had concerns art as opposed to fully colourful pictures like the series before it, sadly. However still 10/10!

There's already enough reviews that go into great depths about this package. (The video review that'd been posted is terrific.)For anyone that knows Amano's artwork or Final Fantasy video games (hence why you're here, I presume), then you already know how amazing his stuff is. This is simply a well-presented, great collection of books – a must-have sold at a good price.There's little I can add to other rest reviews, so just buy it already and soak up the pages with your eyes!
