Nice strop. You can see and feel the craftsmanship in this product. Nice thick ash wood paddle as well. At this price point, you can buy a couple and load up different polishing compounds on each one. I have this in my sharpening travel bag with all my other sharpening tools. This allows for portability to sharpen family members knives. I thought about purchasing the larger paddle version, but in the end decided to get this one. I prefer the X method when I strop, so this one is best for me. The included polishing compound is not bad at all. All in all this made in Europe product is a great value and works well.

Should last many years, very high quality. Really adds to the edge of a blade. Can use the leather without a stone to bring the knife edge back to sharpness if I catch it b4 it gets too dull.

Excellent quality. You can tell it’s hand made by someone who cares about the finish.

If only they would put instructions in the box with the strobe so you know what side does what, it would be great, I'm glad that I know how to sharpen and use one of these. you got to get better at putting instructions with these things so people that are just getting started using these know what side to use.

I recommend this sharpener verses the strope you place on the table. You can hold giving you a better angel to sharpen your knives.
