sixthreezero vs Firmstrong ... both are great bikes but slight edge to sixthreezero.
We purchased two bikes: a sixthreezero women's 26" single speed and a Firmstrong men's 26" single speed. Purchases were made based on availability since the bikes are rated similarly. We love both bikes: both bikes handled my 5’7” 280 lb frame and my wife’s 5”6” 140 lb physique easily. Both are very comfortable to ride and the construction seems to be about the same. Some parts are identical such as the pedals, seat post clamp, and reflectors. Both bikes were easy to assemble and both arrived in excellent condition. Here's where we found differences in the two bikes:The sixthreezero comes with a carrier rack pre-installed. We really like this additional feature. The Firmstrong’s seat is firmer than the sixthreezero. For us the sixthreezero seat is more comfortable. The sixtthreezero came with basic tools for assemble. The Firmstrong did not.Although it seems like you can’t go wrong with either of these bikes, we found that the small differences in the sixthreezero made it our favorite.

Awesome bike, great price, easy to assemble :)
This is the first time I've ever bought a bike from the internet and I couldn't be more happy!! Not only was it really easy to put together (by myself, while drinking), it's just such a wonderful bike! It's smooth, responsive, handles great, I love it. And for the price I'm honestly amazed. I love everything about it, especially the fact that the rack is part of the frame. Not only does it make it sturdy and secure, it meant I didn't have to buy and assemble a separate rack. I just attached a milk crate to the rack with zip ties and it's a perfect basket for groceries, my backpack, whatever I need to haul.

Purple people eater
My bike arrived yesterday. I got the plum color, which I do not regret! I'm a 29 year old, single mom, with basic handyman skills, and I set it up by myself in about 45 min (not reading directions). I purchased the basket separately, which fits just as I imagined it would. Everything fit together very easily and seems to be great quality. You can easily adjust the angle/tilt of the seat and the handlebars to make it completely comfortable. The seat is big and comfy. I ordered a matching basket liner, seat cover, & cup holder on etsy so she's not complete yet! Overall I'm glad I went with this bike because of the built in bike rack. It's built in and slender, not big and bulky-looking, drawing attention away from the rest of the bike like some of the others I see. I think it's the perfect combo between an old-fashioned beach cruiser and a new-school chopper-style cruiser. My eight year old son loves it and is happy his mom finally has a "cool" bike, so I know it's cool ;o).

Short minty girl, the struggle is real!
So initial reactions, I did a lot of research when looking for a bike that suits me. I'm 5' ft tall, exactly, 60 cms, I'm a petite adult woman. It's really close to impossible for me to enjoy the Limebikes and other services outside in the Boston area so I had to commit and buy a bike that suits my small height. The minty green is adorable, perfect for what I was expecting, the quality and sturdiness is very obviously there. The assembly was quite irritating -- it was partially put together (which they don't notate is standard for the Around the Block bikes) so following the manual was basically redundant. The saving grace was YouTube and all the assembly videos present to help me along. It's a heavy bike and you may need two people to help adjust things as you put it together. Overall though I love the appearance, I bought a mint basket to match the bike, which will be helpful during my commute. So I bought the 24' because I read the reviews and woes of other smaller woman struggling with the 26'. Their website says 5-6ft for the 26'. It's an utter lie. I'm BARELY holding on to the 24' then it occurred to me, it's not necessarily about height (we are not all cookie cutter humans) its about your LEG LENGTH. I have a long torso and short legs, I'm happy I chose the 24' because it's literally the only choice I had, I have to be on my tippy toes with it as is, but it rides. If I got the 26', I would have to wear platforms to ride the bike. If you're short and have similar proportions, you may want to consider disregarding their suggestion and getting the 24'. There was another reviewer that said she regretted keeping her 26' at 5'1 because she could not reach comfortable. So beware! Also, there is a weight limit of 198 lbs for the 24' tires, something to consider as well if you're overweight and trying to use this bike to get fit, someone heavier than me sat and the bike did not move well. I don't know how they say 300lbs, that seems really insane to me.As far as assembly suggestions, the constant swivel of the seat can be fixed, you just have to get yourself a ratchet and or crescent wrench and turn those suckers SUPER tightly. Their tools provided are AWFUL. Use your own. As far as the seat lever goes, make sure you grease it too. I found myself building it on a carpet because it helped protect the bike from scuffs as I haphazardly carried it during my assembly.I will update after usage during my commute to see how it lasts. I have high hopes!

Successful Birthday Present from my Husband!
I love my new bike! At age 46, I wanted a comfortable bike to ride around with my family where I sat upright, had a few gears, and was light enough for me to lift onto the bike rake. Total success! The best features are: how comfy the seat feels, the chain rail cover and the paint job. I was also so pleased to find that the handlebars and the handbrakes were adjustable to my exact specifications. Unfortunately, the seat fell off and I fell on my 1st long ride when I swerved to miss a toddler, but that was due to assembly error not manufacturing. Luckily, I was able to quickly reassemble it myself after walking home and resume my ride.
