Surprisingly good watercolors!
I've uploaded a YT video, search for "Review Yooson (Giorgine) 48 Color Watercolor Set".Pros:You are not going to find many sets that are of this quality at such a low price. The colors are super creamy and re-wet very easily.Easy to obtain variations from opaque to barely there transparency. This is a great set for just having fun painting with - much better than your standard 'kids' watercolors for only slightly more $.Cons:Some of the colors do not blend with the expected results - not a huge issue if you test your blends beforehand so you know what you are going to get.No idea of lightfast ratings, and would not expect them to be very lightfast at this price.Bottom Line:I like these watercolor paints and I have fun painting with them. I wouldn't recommend them for archival works of art, but they are really great for just the enjoyment of throwing paint onto paper as they perform very similar to higher end artist quality paints. As a gift for a child or teenager who is getting into art, these would be superb. They are SO much better than the standard cheap kids water color cakes and will surely give any budding artist a much better first experience with working in watercolor. Rather than frustration with the standard kids paints (which are usually gritty cheap pigments that are hard to re-wet or get any color saturation with) these would get a young artist off to a good start.

Great beginner set
This is my first water color set so I don’t have much to compare it too BUT there are lots of colors for the price and the mixing pan/lid is perfect. The colors mix well and look great on cold pressed paper.

Very happy with my purchase.
I forgot to write out an review before but I really love these paints... and I really love the brush and water brush included. Only thing that really bothered me was the color coding sheet... So I mostly just trashed it and just named the colors names that I thought would suit them and number each individual tray to match my swash sheet. I haven't gotten to use any of the postcards yet but that is something I plan on doing in the future and I love the cloth and drawing glove thing that was included I use the glove daily to draw.

Wonderful! Just ignore the shade names. :)
Great watercolors for coloring books. They are very pigmented and great for beginners. The purpled take a little more building than the other colors but I’m very happy with the results. They work well on Amazon paper without bleeding through. The water pen works well. The only thing misleading are the shade names. Many don’t match, so best to do swatches. Also, some colors look very similar, so best to evaluate whether or not you need 48 colors.

Good value
The colors are not in rainbow order so it can be hard to pick the colors you want out but if you rearrange it, it’s so easy for beginners and I love mine!

Great set of paints!!
I love theses paints. What a perfect buy for me! I wanted to explore water color and was looking for a better quality than what can be found in the art supply section in a department store. This set is full of vibrant smooth colors that are perfect for someone like me. I gave a ways to go with mastering the craft but I am truly enjoying my experience and it has a lot to do with these particular paints.

Wonderful product
I love these watercolors they make such bright beautiful paintings. The only down side is that they don't have a lot of skin tone colors. They don't require a lot of water to get rich colors. I would love to buy a new set and recommend it to any new artist trying their hand at watercolor without spending to much.

Cheap plastic inside, nice paints
Update:I decided to keep it and the paints are really nice. The cheap plastic is still a problem though. The palette fell yesterday, not from very high up, and all of the pans came out everywhere. I don’t think I will ever figure out which color went where. On the upside none of the paints cracked.Previous:I like the amount of colors this comes with but I was hoping for something a sturdier that holds the pans. This is just some cheap plastic and they keep slipping out of it. The case is nice and I haven’t tried the paints yet but I may send it back. Haven’t decided yet.

Some colours are very opaque
I am only an amateur painter and definitely not a purist as some are, I do use other mediums such as pencils, gouache, and watercolour pencils. The paints are quite well pigmented but most of them are too opaque for those wishing to have transparency in their paintings. I did manage to get some transparency with the magenta, but the greens were very opaque and I did mix quite a few tones and even though I added quite a lot of water, I could not get the desired effect. All in all, I like the paints, I shall continue to use them for my florals which I turn into cards, but if you are looking for watercolour paints that are transparent, then these are probably not for you.

A good art set.
Paint set is excellent, however the internal plastic insert was cracked all along the edge (as shown in the photo), even though the box and the packaging are perfectly fine. I will not be returning it as my child needs it for his home schooling artwork and the actual paints are fine.

Good quality paints
I am completely new to water colour painting and therefore have not got anything to compare but I found the paints to be very high quality with a great selection of colours. Long lasting paint and drys well on paper. The pack came with a handy colour code as well as some paper cards and 2 paint brushes- Perfect for beginners and amateur painters, very happy with purchase.

Good quality paint
Very impressed with these paints, I'm not an artist at all and I've not done no water painting since primary school (over 30 years ago) but I've had great fun with these so far. Feels like good quality paint and you get quite a few items in the kit (as pictured).
