Magpul USGI 223 Ranger Plate Floorplate Loop (Pack of 3), Black

So I made a noob mistake when ordering these. see, I was looking for a dust cover for my mag well. Turns out that this replaces the floor plate on the mag. This was in the description and not the vendors fault, all me. Although now the description is more detailed, but I never complained about it so that change was not me! So, I didn't get the dust cover I wanted. But I did get two packs of three pulls for mags. Great! I have the mags to put them on! These slide on a standard metal magazine ONLY, do not try to put on the plastic ones. My 40 round mags wouldn't even stand a chance of taking these, and they are from the same maker. But this is not a negative, just a side note. This slides in easily and seats without much hassle at all. Removing it takes much more effort, but is still insanely simple. It will not just fall off of your mag, but it wont be a permanent addition if you don't want it to be. If your mag has bent metal this may start popping off, so use it only on good condition mags. Now I need to locate the dust cover I was after....

Another well made, functional and dependable product from a great American brand

First off - I've always hated the way these look, but they're fantastic functionally. I don't think they're necessary for larger mags, but they make a world of difference on short 10 rounders. I installed these on some ASC 10 rd stainless magazines and they were quick and easy to put on

These Ranger Plates are designed for the STANAG/USGI 30rd magazine, but with a little extra work I was able to use them on my 20rd aluminum magazines. Magpul makes a great product here. The rubber/polymer base pad lets you “mag rest” on hard surfaces for stability without worrying about damaging the magazine.

Good product. Fit is hard to figure out but I did. Fit is good price is fair.

Same old magpul quality just like all of their other products. Simple install and they last a long time.

I thing the lsap flare plates are a little better but these are still awesome. They will add a little bit of length but plan around that and you will be happy. Great Magpul quality

Good quality and fits like I want them to. Saves mags while dropping on hard surfaces for a quick reload. And cups in the hand nicely for a firm seat.
