damaged box
The box for the filter was damaged (dropped) in one corner, prior to delivery. The filter had a small paint chip as a result. The packaging for the order (the outer box) was fine. In my opinion, this particular item should not have been sold in "new" condition.

This is exactly the same filter my dealer installed on my car. Not sure why there are reviews saying it’s Chinese product. It clearly says at the bottom of the filter :product of USA. As of the package, I don’t see any Chinese letters, there are only translations of oil filter in Korean and Japanese on the lid. Anyways, I’m happy with the purchase
