No failed prints
For the money. Perfect. Not one failed print/warping or shrinking. Recommended.

PETG
Product had previously been used as only three quarters left on the spool, and something spilt on it making it sticky which caused it to go brittle and snap when uncoiling it, Amazon notified and reimbursed, Product was disposed, bought another of same elsewhere which performed brilliantly, finish was what was expected, no tangling and great value for money.

Cheap and nasty spool
The filament is really nice but why use a cheap card board spool. I have only used a couple of meters and the spool sides are coming away from the tube. I’ll be really lucky if I don’t have to rewind onto a proper spool. I won’t buy this make again unless it’s on a plastic.I reconsidered my star rating and increased by one as it was at the cheap end of the scale

Nice shade of grey
A really unique and nice colour grey PETG. eSun PETG on my Bambu doesn't print as well as some other brands, in my case, however this was ok. Slowed down a little bit and it was fine. Sticks to the bed well.Mostly really like the shade of grey as it's quite unique compared to all the other greys which are very similar/the same.

Great results, but you need to get your settings honed in first
This was my first ever PETG filament, but as I have been getting amazing results with their PLA+ filament I thought I would try eSuns PETG.I have to say that 1st impressions were not good, I was really struggling to get good results at first, with problems with bad adhesion, blobbing, stringing, layer adhesion etc, however I now know this was all down to my configuration and not the filament.I am using and Ender 3D V2, and Cura as my slicer. After many different attempts I found that downloading eSuns material profile for PETG helped, but after some trial and error I find the optimum print temperature for my printer is 138 (profile default is 145) I guess there is some tolerance in the temperature calibration of different printers.I also found you have to print fine and slow. I have made the following adjustments to the default Cura Dynamic Profile0.16 layer height0.2 for 1st layerBuild Plate 70Print Speed 30Wall, Top/Bottom Speed 15Initial Layer Speed 15Number of slower layers 5Cooling 20IroningI also had to get me e steps and bed level spot on, any under extrusion really showed on large flat areas.I use the smooth side of a textured glass build plate, and cote with basic watered down PVA glue, for perfect adhesion when printing, but once cooled the print just falls off with no prizing required. So it took a fair bit of trial and error, but the results are now amazing, with very shiny and smooth top and bottom layers.

Ran out of Prusa PETG and needed a replacement quickly it worked well.
As I said in the title ran out of Prusa PETG and needed some more PETG to finish the job. Worked well with the same settings. Frankly couldn’t tell the difference, excepting a much lower price for the eSun product.

Wet filament
This filament was terrible. I have been buying it for years and this entire batch is ruined. The filament was well sealed with desiccant inside and I heard the air rushing in when I cut the plastic so it was manufactured with moisture inside.Close examination revealed small bubbles throughout the filament.I have dried it for 5 hours in a food desiccator with slight improvement but still bubbles are showing and the surface quality is very bad. So now I'm trying to dry it for longer.UPDATE - I have been unable to dry it properly. The filament has bubbles in it when printed. So far 3 spools are bad. I'm trying the others.

Colours aren’t great
First off in contradiction to some other reviews I am happy to receive cardboard spools for environmental reasons . Yes the cardboard spool was bent by the shrink wrap and other manufacturers manage to provide non bent cardboard spools but it hardly matters to me as did not cause any issues.Printing. I managed to print with this filament fine although I had some stinginess and oozing out the nozzle from first use which likely indicates moisture although this was not excessive. Now colours. See photo of eSun gold chess piece with eSun red and neutral rings and some other red yellow things and a remnant of some other gold filament. Neutral is like bubble wrap which I guess is probably about right. Red yes it’s red but some how it’s just not popping bright red as it could be. A little light in the corners maybe not having enough pigment or maybe I am too , it’s good enough just not impressive. Gold. YeahGold. I would hardly call this gold. At best I would say it’s a better yellow or a ripe lemon colour. Pictured with a remnant of other gold filament and a piece of sweet corn it’s in a clear third place in looking golden. Value for money? How can I rate that when the price is always changing showing discount from a very premium price?I won’t be buying this brand again I was taken in by the supposed discount and the fourth spool I bought but didn’t open will probably be returned.

Nice results out of the box. Rich color
Worked nicely, like other PETG I have used.I ran a "temperature ladder" test from 260 C down to 210 C in 5 degree steps. The recommended temperature on the packaging is 230 to 250C. I found that all temperatures gave good overall structure, but with quite a bit of stringing. Raised letters were best from 225 to 245. Indented letters were best at the coolest temperatures and got steadily worse (but never bad) as the heat went up. The surface was shiny except at 210 and 215, where it was dull.In the photo the stringing looks pretty bad, but remember that this was printed with no supports. Normally a flat area like that would be supported.I printed a small box, about 60 x 80 mm with hollowed 3 mm walls. It looks much better that the test ladder, though there are some thin strings to clean up.

Good stuff
This PETG filament is great if you want to print green transparant stuff. Like this sims plumbob lighted by a phone flashlight.
