This product is pretty cool, my daughter picked it out and has it in her bedroom. Installation is a little tricky, it does take patience and a lot of attention to detail. I think this product would work very well on smooth painted drywall surfaces. We put it on a textured drywall wall, and so far it has held up but I'm not sure how it will stick for the long term. If it does come off, it's not a fault of the product or manufacturer, but simply because we are not installing it on a smooth flat surface. So far so good though, and a great wall accent and decorative option.

This decal is much smaller than appears in the image, but it works well on my wall. I have surrounded it with art I have collected from around the world, which actually makes the size perfect for my purposes. The most challenging part of placing the decal on the wall is making sure it's straight before peeling off the back. There's no adjusting once it's on! I very carefully followed their directions (written very clearly and extremely helpful!) while applying the decal. It's really important to go slowly as there are some super tiny pieces that can easily be missed unless you continually use the included squeegee to make sure all pieces come off the backing. I was worried the whole time that I had placed it crooked, but part of this comes from the fact that the paper cover is not cut straight, so you really have to look at the image when taping it to the wall prior to peeling it off. When all done (maybe a half hour job including readjusting the paper on the wall until I was satisfied it was straight), I was so pleased with the outcome. It looks amazing!! I'm super happy with this purchase. A very high quality item I look forward to enjoying in my new home.

Looks nice. Easy to put up and stays on quite well. Only thing i didn't do is put it on my wall the strightest. Wish it had something like a line or w/e on it so it would make it easier to put up straight. Other then that it looks nice. Just be carefull when buying because the price can go up and down on this. I baught mine for $14. Def don't fall for the $100 ones or somewhere in that insane priceing.

Yes, it comes rolled up with bubble or crease but it was very easy to get out when applying to the wall. I see a lot of negative reviews saying it was hard to put on or took 2 people a really long time. I've done 2 of these so far, the largest one and the medium one which both took me less than 20 minutes to put up myself. All you need to do is stick it on the wall and slowly peel it off from one side while using a credit card to make sure it sticks to the wall (scrape the sticker through the paper hard for best results) Also, if you have spray texture on your wall, it give the sticker a cool effect like raised mountain ranges on a globe!

I absolutely love my wall art. I thought it would be a bit bigger considering the photograph, but it doesn't look that big on my wall. I have it in the centre of my bedroom wall and it looks awesome! It's a little shiny when all the lights are on, but that doesn't bother me. The application was incredibly simple and the little card included helped smooth out any bumps while applying. It's best to have someone help you apply the map as it can get tricky to peel with only one person. My only complaint is that the backing for the sticker was cut crooked so when I was lining up the map on my wall I couldn't help but think I was hanging it crooked--but it was just the sticker back! That was such a minor issue that it really didn't bother me. I love it so much and will definitely be ordering from this company again!

It's shipped all wrapped up, way too hard. Probably to save space in their warehouse. Either way, it created a lot of wrinkles on the decal. I decided to apply it anyways. Those wrinkles are extremely noticeable. It took me at least an hour to get the whole thing set up. Oh yeah, another thing. It's design is just stupid. The pieces are set up detached. For example, central america is cut in half and south america is a separate piece. Africa is straight up cut in half and you have to line them up perfectly, good luck! Not to mention not all the pieces are the same shade of black nor the same amount of gloss. Another thing! Nothing mentions that it's glossy not matte! ANOTHER THING! There was a piece missing from Greenland. ANOTHER. DAMN. THING. Almost impossible to cut because the thing was wrapped up to tight then when I pulled it out it would not stay flat, so I had to put things on each side to hold it down because you cant roll it the other way because that'll rip the decal. Thanks a lot. Maybe not the sellers fault, maybe I just got a bad one. Either way, not a good experience. Wouldn't recommend.

The map doesn't look too bad, but it does look a little squished vertically. Installation was okay, I had to cut the Americas and Europe/Africa in two, as it didn't have a straight cut along the top and thus was impossible to apply in one. Also, the lower half of Africa is a separate sticker, be careful to attach it without any gap in between! Squeezing/Flattening the finished map using the provided card left some white spots (I guess the black coating came off a little). It also reflects a lot of light (sun, ceiling light), I had a hard time finding an angle where I could see the whole map without reflections. Overall I'm disappointed with the map. Too bad I'm not able to return it as taking it off the wall would destroy it...

I broke it into a lot of different pieces and it ended up looking great.

The Southern Hemisphere comes beside the northern hemisphere so you have to cut it off and place it below. I understand why they designed it this way ( for size and shipping) but it will make it a bit harder to install. This map is very large. Wider than a single bed.

When you apply this world map sticker, make sure to start from a smaller pieces which is easier to manage.
