This was a wonderful book with mystery and danger and wonderful love stories. But the one before this about Marcus left me with unanswered questions. The reader never found out that Marcus told his brothers that he was a half brother or what their reaction was there were several other things that were never resolved and I wondered why not perhaps the author was in a hurry to end the novel. I saw a reference to the fact that Marcus and his sweetheart got married but it never happened within the story. I think some of these details should have been handled before the end of the book. This novel was wonderful with its characters is scenery and his information about terrorists abroad I highly recommend it

Wow! I was captured from the beginning. This book kept me entertained from start to finish with me not wanting to put it down. A feel good book.

This is a sweet romance between an ex military billionaire CEO who is part of a rescue group and an intern geologist who was kidnapped by a guerilla group while on expedition in a foreign country. This book is medium burn, low on angst. Looking forward to Jax and Harlow's story.No cliffhanger, HEA, dual POV, a little language and steamy.

Hudson and his brother own and operate the family business Montgomery Mining, three of their geologist are captured in Lania by rebels. They paid one some ransom to get Harlow back she is in the hospital, her boyfriend is killed. Her bestfriend is still missing and close to death . Hudson and Jax decided they are going to find her they are both ex-military, they call their pilot to fly them in their private jet. Taylor is close to death when they recover her, Hudson takes her to the shower to clean her up , she has a IV in her arm. She is delusional and extremely weak he has to carry her every place. She is hospitalized , they run loads of test in her , then Hudson takes her home . She has no family to help her , he has a doctor, physical therapist and psychologist coming in to help her. Plus he feeds her constantly , she is skin and bones. While taking care of her he falls in love with her, but she had been sexually assaulted . Taylor is in love with Hudson he is her rescuer, he runs to her room to comfort her while she has nightmares of her captivity. They express their feelings but take it slow. They are such a cute couple both have insecurities but are so loving. It'd endearing to see a big tough man taken to his knees over his love for Taylor.Why do the books take so long ? Nine months for the next book, readers forget the storyline (Family) with the long wait time.

While the story is unrealistic for Taylor to have healed so quickly from kidnapping and being raped then rescued, I felt the author tried to explain how she was ok to fall in love with Hudson so quickly. I thought it was endearing and that she was a strong independent woman. Full novel, no cliffhanger and an HEA.

When a CEO Billionaire decided to go after a hostage, he hadn't expected that he would do anything in his power to make sure that no one will ever hurt her again. What Hudson Montgomery didn't expect is that pull this redhead, had on him, in the end will he let her go or tell her his true feelings. Loved it cannot wait for the next book

Love love any JS Scott book but the billionaire series’s were my first so gave a special place in my heart. Love how they all interlink and we get glimpses of other couples. Loved Taylor and Hudson’s characters. Can’t wait for Jax and Harlow. When will guys learn that being a man whore will not work for you when you find the one.

The was so good it was as hard to put it down
