Tried and tested
I bought this for our 32+ hour flights to Australia. I waited till after the trip to review honestly, not before, which would be ‘hopefully’. I am tall with a long neck, so I loved the fit and ability to adjust front or back depending on which way I was trying to sleep. I coupled it with a deep memory foam neck pillow and whether in the center, or window seats, this really improved my rest. Let’s face it, it is difficult to sleep on a plane anyways, but I slept more than ever before without this. My neck did not ache and I did not find myself head bobbing forward. As mentioned in other posts, the clip design for the bag could be fine tuned to clip back on itself so you can loop it on to your carryon instead of clip only. I would recommend this to any long necked person for sure.

Comfy, practice before your first trip
This is a good piece of kit, takes some practice to get it work correctly, certainly did on the airplane, works much easier in the car.

Great travel pillow
It save my life on a 18 hrs flight. It works and worth the money.

Terrible product - uncomfortable and useless!
I have purchased over a thousand products on Amazon and this is the first I have to leave such a negative review on - unfortunately, despite all claims of being a revolutionary travel pillow, it’s a complete waste of money (especially at the price!) and extremely uncomfortable. No chance of shutting an eye with that device - the cramps and stiffness in neck and shoulder blades from first moment keep you awake and wriggling. Tried both left / right side, adjusting height up / down, tying loosely / tightly - nothing results in a supported position allowing me to relax. Full regret.

Concept is flawed
The materials are high quality, soft, and pleasant to the touch. However, the concept is flawed. The positioning of the neck to rest to one side may be useful for a nap during a short-haul flight, but to sleep on a long-haul flight, it is just impossible to stay turned to one side. plus if your head tilts to the opposite side, there is nothing to provide support. You can, of course, use the "pillow" on both sides, but as you are trying your best to rest on a flight, to then "interrupt" your rest to unwrap it, turn it around, and re-wrap it around your neck. Additionally, there is a bit of claustrophobia to it. To get it in an optimum state, one has to wrap it quite tight; which after a while feels quite asphyxiating.

Mixed bag....good product....but flawed design.
Bit of a gamble on this as I was going into hospital with my wife to have a baby knowing there wouldn’t be a bed for me, so would have to sleep in an uncomfortable hospital chair. I have to say the mixed reviews weren’t that helpful. So I thought I would give my experience. It is high quality and well made. It also looks pretty funky and tasteful in the grey I chose. It is also certainly comfortable (No plastic sticking into me like some other reviews suggest), but you really have to be relaxed and trust it (or be completely exhausted) in order to actually fall asleep. With some trial and error I adjusted mine to the most comfortable and supportive height; this will obviously be different for everyone. Even when I had done this, my head wasn’t 100% supported and I would have benefited from an actual cushion. I think the design could be improved if the base of the support that rests on your shoulder was widened to provide more solid support. This would make it ever so slightly less portable, but SO much more functional! The height adjustability is a big pro of this particular version, I cannot imagine the non-adjustable variant is that comfortable unless you are the exact 50th percentile user. Another pertinent point that should be highlighted, if you care about these things, is that you look like you have a pretty severe neck injury whilst using it. I doubt most people care about this, but I certainly got some pretty weird looks from nurses when I was in hospital of all places due to looking like a patient. I reckon it is probably marginally better than a traditional neck support pillow. So, not a complete waste of money, but not the silver (sleep) bullet it is marketed as. Not really worth the money being charged. £20 would be the price I suggest it is worth. Definitely better than not having something comfortable to rest your head on though.......

No more head bobbing!
I ordered numerous travel pillows for my upcoming long haul flight and out of them all the Trtl Pillow Plus was by far the superior pick! Total neck support at the side as well as under the chin and its adjustable so you can increase the support or adjust to fit your particular neck size. I’m short (5’1) and some pillows were too big to fit in the space around my neck. The Trtl Pillow Plus is an excellent fit and it’s much more compact to travel with which is a bonus!

Brilliant Product
If you have loved the old Trtl this will make you smile. More sturdy so offers more support something the original lacked. I think the adjustment option is more of a gimmick, but due to the fact it has this, the whole product becomes a sturdier piece of kit. Before buying this, i did the rounds of all the other pillows out there ranging from £15 to £50, thinking maybe i was missing out on something as other pillows have 1000's of 5 star reviews. All of them went straight back. There is nothing like the Trtl and the new version is a winner. Regarding the price, it is pricey but i will gladly pay extra for a superb product.

Comfortable, practical, not to bulky

I had the previous model that was perfect. This new model is a nightmare: Even in the shortest position it is still too tall for my head, it’s either crushing my ears or my jaw. The new outside fabric is quite sturdy and not nice to feel and when you tie the pillow it’s cutting your blood circulation. Obviously discovered all this when already in the plane.

Unlike some other reviews I saw, when I used the trtl Pillow Plus I felt my head and neck very well supported by it, and my head is not a small one! It felt confortable, cosy, and sturdy enough! Totally reccomend it!!!

Mi ha cambiato la vita durante i viaggi lunghi! Dormo! Devi trovare la posizione giusta altrimenti è scomodo ma se la trovi, è davvero il miglior cuscino per viaggiare

It doesn't work for me. For one thing, the pressure is not distributed on the skull, but centred behind the ear, and the rounding at the shoulder is too little to distribute pressure. This leaves you with a point-like sensation. In addition, the rotation also creates extra pressure on the cervical vertebrae and carotid artery.
