Very good quality product/excellent customer support
This is my 3rd test device from TackLife and am very pleased with this purchase and customer support. Had minor issue with continuity test and after a few emails, a replacement was sent quickly. Features are very complete. Build quality very solid. Knob has solid positive click. Leads are very good quality and have attachment on back. I really like the NCV voltage detector which is very convenient when I don't have my ac tester with me. Only recommendations to company are: 1) Increase size of test probe holders on back as they are very hard to fit in 2) provide straight tip for longer narrow testing 3) provide a case for the unit. I will continue to buy products from TackLife as I know they offer great value and now know they have outstanding customer support!

I'm no electrician... but this works great!
I'm not an electrician by trade, nor do I do any other professional work that requires a multimeter. This is simply a tool that I know I can use to check readings myself before I start making unnecessary calls. On that note, I'm not sure what I can say about the accuracy of the readings. This is my third multimeter; I broke my first and still have my second. It seems straightforward... pick the appropriate reading to take, connect the wires and place them where needed.I'm not here to tell you which setting for which test, I'm here to tell you that I can do these things and I get basically the same reading with either multimeter, which to me means this one takes accurate readings. What this one has that my previous does not, is that it lights up. When it's on, you can press a button to force the display to light up. You can also turn on a flashlight on the top. Both work well, the flashlight should provide enough light if you need to find something in the dark. It's by no means bright, but it will work. The display seems brighter with its light on, probably because it's bigger. Both turn off when you put the dial in the off position. This comes with a nice, form fitting protective case that also provides a place to put the probe ends of the testing cables. It's only slightly inconvenient to have to remove this so you can replace batteries, but it's worth it. The case also has a bit of a lip which fits in to a ridge on the multimeter, so it stays snug. The battery cover also has a kickstand built in so you can set the multimeter on a flat surface nearby and use both hands to put the probes where needed for testing.Overall, good purchase at least for a guy who doesn't NEED a multimeter, but can use one on occasion.

Great value, does everything I need it to. Why spend more?
I have used multimeters while working on cars in a shop for several years, I've had many brands including Fluke ($$$$). That being said I love this thing. No complaints. It looks slick, feels good in the hand. The case and integrated prong holders are great. It feels solid and not cheap at all. The screen looks nice, backlight works really well. The flashlight is a nice touch. The autorange works faster than my previous favorite (Craftsman). On the Craftsman I would often times set the range myself instead of waiting for the autorange to figure it out. With this one I can use it the way it's supposed to be used because it's quick and responsive. Why are you still reading this? Get it!!!

Didnt work out of the box
Received on time but due to pandemic had some issues occuring in family. Never opened it and it has been sitting in my desk till today. The meter looked very good and was eager to try it out realizing it had been put away for a few months. However, when the batterys were put in ...nothing. I tried changing with newer batteries and nothing. No signs of life. Kind of disappointed and I know I should have gotten to it sooner but life sometimes gets in the way. But it appears the unit would not have functioned even if I tried it upon receiving it. Im not sure the seller would exchange it for a working meter but again my fault for not trying it out sooner

Very well built and easy to use
Amazing value for the price! I really can't believe I kept using that crappy Harbor Freight meter for so long when this beauty is so reasonably priced. The HF meter actually cost me more money because faulty readings led me to replace parts & components that weren't bad. Transformers that don't put out proper voltage get replaced, but meters that lie to you should get replaced first. The Tacklife revealed that the old transformer was actually well within tolerance, and that the HF meter was worth less than what I paid for it (and it was free).

Phenomenal multimeter
I really like this multimeter and I think it's different.First of all, its appearance is very beautiful, this transparent shell design is very technological. Secondly, it has many functions and more accurate measurement data. It combines safety and accuracy into one, which is very suitable for daily use. It is our necessary tool.At last,The flexible lantern-shaped probes make it possible to not only touch a small measured object, but also be inserted into the jacks for hands free test,If a friend needs a slender probe, you can buy a set of test leads separately. Compared to the powerful features of this multimeter, this need not be concerned.

A solid, easy to use, feature rich meter from a great company.
I do a lot of work with 3d printers and use multimeters all the time. This one is unique in that you have autoranging for AC and DC testing, and you also have separate settings for battery testing in common voltages with a built in load. this means that when you test a battery, you get a reading not just on what voltage there is, but how strong a current is being supplied. If a battery is near dying, it will still have its rated voltage, but will drop quickly when tested under load. This shows the thought that went into designing this meter. And as I own a number of Tacklife tools, I can say they produce quality products.

Great entry level device
I got this to test resistance of conductive paint on 3D prints. So far it seems to work great. It came well packaged and even included a screw driver to put the batteries in.The unit has a rubber case on it and included alligator clips that slide onto the banana clip type probes.I'll update this after testing a few resistors just to gauge the accuracy but I believe it's accurate. The resistance goes up and down as expected when using in my current project.
