It works great, simple to use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this after a bad experience with my sister in law. My brother and she bought a new house in a new subdivision and she suddenly was sick all the time, especially in the new house. They had some one come out and check for EMF emissions and they were off the chart on the side of the house with the master bedroom. They discovered that the power lines for the whole neighborhood went through their yard next to the wall with the master bedroom. The builder failed to disclose this information. Then after that, I saw a show on the science channel about how the emf emissions made some people extremely ill, and how new "smart" power meters were emitting emfs. So out of curiosity, I came across this meter, it was relatively inexpensive, so I got one to play with. Turns out, it really works! My smart power meter is putting out EMF emissions. And I was shocked at hoe much radiation is coming out of the microwave.. I certainly won't be putting my face to the window on it to check the food it is heating!

after using several devices for EMF
what have here is a basic device to measure 1 axis of eletro magnetic field.professional device will measure 3 axis but will cost much more.I'm used to the Corent EMF/ELF testers and comparing to this one I think it is a nice home device.pros: easy to use for non-technical people. has both visual and audio alarm. nice rubber case.I brought it close to an LCD and it showed about 1.5 mili-gauss. seems reasonable.cons: we know that earth has natural 0.55 Gauss background field , yet this device show 000.0 in an open field.I would expect 500.0comparing to more pricey devices it has a delay of 1-2 second in the measurement.as if the sampling rate is low. I guess that's what you get for 30$ device.

EMF woke me up!
Without going into claims of various nature's, I'll just say that having an EMF meter for personal use has woke me up a bit to the huge number of electromagnetic fields around us. Not gonna lie, the dangerously high levels coming from my microwave... Set in a quantifiable, empirical number...has convinced me that it's not so good to press my face up against it.This is a TackLife brand unit. I've bought the brand for a few years, two or three maybe, and have come to really like their stuff and put it on the same level of quality and form as Bosch....or maybe a budget Bosch. The body of the meter is rubberized and doesn't feel overly chunky or conversely, delicate and breakable. One feature that I think may get overlooked is the built in flashlight. It's not going to dazzle. BUT there are tons of use cases where having a small, built-in light is extremely handy.I will also say that it can take a little getting used to the multi-function buttons. Long presses and short presses do different things that aren't really connected together. I might criticize that but it wouldn't be fair. I've played video games for years and that sort of thing is exactly what you'd get used to with gaming or cell use. I can still see some having concerns or being dissatisfied not knowing that up front. It just takes a little use and some intentional thinking to map your brain and fingers to the button options and I think you'll find it turns into second nature. All in all, good product, good brand, good price. I'm satisfied with my purchase. I expected to be with TackLife. And I know that sounds like a commercial ad but I bought a multimeter from them a few years ago. It was at a fantastic price on Amazon and holy smokes, the feature set was incredible. I've beat that thing, dropped it, kicked it, ground it into some gravel, and generally abused it and it's done nothing but keep going. They've won me over!

EMF Tester Really Works
This is a great tool to pick up electromagnetic field radiation. I mainly got this because we live in a very old home and the family believes there are ghosts in this house. It definitely works great because I tested it and it gives a high reading on the microwave and circuit panel. I now can tell a safe distance to stand away from the microwave while it’s on. As for ghosts, I haven’t had the meter go off anywhere else yet, which is good. I like that it also has a thermometer built in so you can see if the temperature fluctuates.

Sensors are crap
Very slow readings compared to analog meters, also not accurate (compared to Trifield meter- pic 1). Thermometer also suffers from slow readings: starting at 80 degrees F: after 30 seconds in a 20F freezer it got to 70 degrees, It even took 10 seconds to begin dropping from 80. The Cheaper meter started dropping slowly right away (pic 2 after 30 seconds in). The Thermometer kept dropping after it was taken out for 30 seconds (pic 3). Meter is of quality plastic and has a good look but the sensors are crap. Professionally this meter is a joke. For ghost hunting it’s even worse. For home use add about 10 mG to your number and that will make it a more true reading. Many areas of my house will pick up a mG reading on the Trifield while the Tack-life gives a zero reading.

Works well
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this to check for wiring issues in my home and appliances. The audible alert is very helpful for zeroing in on the source. The light up display is also very helpful. Light weight and easy to hold. Tripod mount makes it easy to go hands free. My Child loves ot use it for ghost detecting but sofar not ghosts.

This device is a must, before investing in EMF radiation protection.
There is a lot of misinformation on the market regarding EMF radiation protection. This device will allow one to measure the magnetic and electric fields around all electric and electronic appliances in the home and before deciding what protection measures should be taken before wasting hundreds of dollars on palliative gadgets. The mG scale is the easiest to read. In my case, I concluded that as long as I stay 9 feet away from the microwave when it is on all is fine. Another nice feature is the temperature reader that allows one to trim the HVAC vents in the rooms.

Not great
It’s just not accurate at all. It only works if you are very close or touching the thing you want to meter...
