Nice Guy (lol)
I've been a Carl Weber fan since I read Player Haters in 2004. His signature characterization and humor that's prevalent throughout his novels is intriguing and entertaining. I own 13 of his books and I'll continue to support him as long as he continues to write. He's also my inspiration to becoming an author myself. I'm currently in school right now working on earning my Associate's in English. And afterwards I intend to earn my Bachelor's in Creative Writing. But enough about me because you all want to read the review of No More Mr. Nice Guy (lol).***Spoiler Alerts!!! Read at your own discretion!!!***For those of you who are new to Niles Monroe, he was the love interest for Paris Duncan in To Paris with Love (from The Family Business). One would easily say they were the perfect couple: a stereotypical love match made in heaven. That is, if one would consider a couple of professionally trained assassins traveling all over Europe killing people while screwing each other's brains out perfect, then yeah, they were the perfect couple... Until tragedy struck and all hell broke loose (in true Carl Weber fashion)! No More Mr. Nice Guy is a slow read at first, so one would have to be patient if they're anticipating on getting to the good stuff.Carl Weber, with the assistance of Stephanie Covington, introduces us to a colorful array of characters that keeps his readers glued to the story.Niles is a retired Army vet whose only desire is to live a normal life, work a regular nine-to-five, and take care of his family--namely his bipolar mother, Lorna. Of course since Mr. Weber's writing the story, we all know nothing ever goes according to plan and Niles' world is turned upside down when he meets the beautiful, and sexually alluring Bridget St. John.Bridget is as sexy as she is dangerous. Fierce and authoritative, she's extremely hard and takes nothing from no one. She'll also stop at nothing to get Niles to bend to her will, using every trick in her book--and she's equipped with a lot of them! And Niles is helpless to resist.Willie is Niles' uncle and also a retired military vet. He's a waste of space, human excrement to be exact. Wille's a lazy alcoholic who managed to drink his life away without a care in the world. And it isn't until Niles is employed at his new job and Willie meets a new woman, that Willie's inspired to turn his life around.Bruce isn't your typical thug. He's aggressive, brusque, has a penchant for violence and a master manipulator. Okay... maybe Bruce is your typical thug. He serves as Majestic's right-hand man and will do anything out of sheer loyalty for his friend. And by anything... I mean ANYTHING! No job is too dangerous or too difficult for Bruce, if it means proving his worth to Majestic.Keisha is a young mother who only wants to do right for her son, MJ and to live her life freely. However it's difficult when her mother, Debra acts like an irresponsible teen who's become emancipated from controlling parents. Speaking of controlling, MJ's father, Majestic isn't letting Keisha roam around freely anytime soon...Majestic's the antagonist of this story and he's disgusting, ruthless and vile. Majestic wants everyone in Wyandanch to know he's in control and those who defy his sovereignty--they paid the price--with their LIVES! And the mother of his child, Keisha, is no exception!Together all six of these characters clash in a suspenseful, action-packed, sexually-driven novel that'll fester varying emotions within readers. I laughed hysterically, my eyes bulged at a plethora of scenes (especially the club scene that had me hollering like a wildcat), my heart sunk at the unfortunate demise of some of the characters, too.Carl brings forth his unique style of drama into No More Mr. Nice Guy that'll keep readers gripping the pages of the book. Again it's a slow read, but it's well worth it. Niles is an intriguing character and I eagerly look forward to his final showdown with the Duncan princess, Paris. How Carl is going to end this love saga between these two murderous characters? Only time will tell. But I'll be waiting with baited breath and my debit card ready for the next Family Business purchase.

Another Hit
Carl Weber and Stephanie Covington didn't disappoint with this one. It was so nice to get the background story on Niles. He's a true bad ass and Paris 's equal. Loved his and Uncle Willie's character. Can't wait to read the next novel that ties all of these characters together. Keisha's character really surprised me at the end. She was quick thinking and cunning when needed. Y'all presented another amazing read.

Loved it!
I have read this entire series and this was a good read. I am anxious to learn whether Niles has a happy ending. My only criticism is that Mr. Weber has misspelled this word in several books: diffuse, not defuse.

Great Read
I love Carl Weber's books. This one did not disappoint. I love the way he connects characters from different books and explains how they got to be who they are. Niles Monroe from "To Paris with Love"- we get to see how he became what he is. This book made me go back and re-read some of "To Paris with Love. I love his character and would like to see he and Paris get back together. Niles is perfect for Paris. Hopefully, they won't kill each other in the future.

I’m a huge fan of Carl Weber. He never disappoints. I’m hoping there is a follow up after this one.

Another well-written sequel from Weber
First off let me just say, Weber and Covington did a great job aligning what we know about the present, to what we didn't know about the past. The book tells an intriguing story about how Niles Monroe became a savage killer, but it also shows his more sensitive side, and how it got tainted. If you're a reader who can appreciate the art of writing and how authors connect the dots with subtlety, you will definitely love this book. Another winner from the Family Business series! Oh and of course there are some sexy scenes sprinkled throughout the pages as well. I enjoyed every minute of the read.

Love this book! Another great Family Business
I enjoyed meeting this new character although it took me a bit of adjustment since the family was much less involved. An excellent well written book! Enjoyed tremendously!
