Are these tinny sounding? Hows the base? How loud are these? When you put your phone in your pocket do these cut out?

They do not sound tinny. Bass is very good such small headphones. By using the phone's volume, they are loud enough to drown out much of the outside world. So far I've had no problem with cutting out, but I've been using at home where the WiFi is solid and the connection is easily maintained.
