Delicious Sourdough
Very tasty, toasts well, even when it's drying out a bit.

OK after refreshing with water and 8 min in oven
I think it might have been nice straight out of the oven, but when you wrap it in paper and it's sold a day later, it is hard, dry and stale. I would prefer the crust a light golden brown like shown not the near burnt I got. When it is this brown, the crust is a thick, bitter thing, and the ear is basically no longer a thing of beauty but a bit you really feel like discarding rather than chewing your way through. There are enormous holes in some of the slices, I guess the baker is proud of his or her oven spring, but frankly it's hard to appreciate a slice which has a huge 3 cm hole in the middle of it surrounded by a lot of thick hard bitter crust. I had to refresh in the oven before it was edible. Basically moisten the crust and lay out the slices on a tray for 5-8 min each side. Toasting makes it too dry and hard.

Fresh, great texture and flavour
The bread was fresh, the texture is just perfect - thick crust with a soft and chewy middle, and the flavour is just perfect.

Lovely bread for a toast treat
Excellent bread to freeze when cut for later use - recommend wrapping in aluminium foil. All natural ingredients and no additives.

So hard you could break a tooth on it.
Ordered for delivery on the same day as I was planning to use it in sandwiches for a trip. I know its supposed to be a loaf with a crispy crust but honestly, it was rock hard and I couldn't even get a knife through it without sustaining a hand injury.I don't know if its state is down to the recipe or those who prepared the delivery but I felt like I was dealing with a loaf that had been left to dry out on shelf for at least 24 hours. I will not be buying this again. It was also, by the way, far smaller than I expected it to be.
