The product did not come as pictured in the ad. There was a small tab on the outer rim that needed to be cut off. Once I did this, the shifter knob fit perfectly. The ad shows metal tabs that should help line up the knob.The one sent to me did not have these tabs but it worked OK anyway.

Does not fit 2008 F150

The Chrome Shifter Cap we had in our 2006 Ford FX4 cracked, so we replaced it with this one. This is easy to install, and works great, but is not high quality Chrome, rather cheap plastic from China. Still does the job, fixed what was broken, we are satisfied with that as it was for our older truck.

Original cap fell off completely as I shifted into park to retrieve this out of the mailbox.....it installed quickly, new clips appear sturdier, and looks great.

With this part being made of plastic, they will break in about a year, that's why I purchased two

I watched a YouTube video and was able install the new shifter cap in a few minutes. The chrome on the old one was delaminating leaving sharp edges. Glad I got this fixed.

Looks awesome for my 08 f150 it wouldn't fit. So I broke off the tabs and glued it on. It looks perfect

Tabs for mounting click in on the inside of the stick with much sturdier build than the small tabs used from factory.Nice finish as well, worth the money
