Kicker 46KISLOC2 K-Series Stereo Line-Output Converter w/Remote Turn-On Output

I’m using this in my 2008 civic si to connect my amp and sub into the stock subwoofer wires. The original one was blown, but the original wiring was fine, so I used this to hook up the new amp in the trunk. It seems to be good quality, I haven’t had any weird interference or issues with it. Setup was pretty simple, not too hard to do.

Awesome product. Didn’t have to replace the factory head unit in my 2012 Prius V with an aftermarket one just to hook up an amp and subs. Was able to tap into the rear speaker wires that power the rear door speakers by removing the plastic trim between the front and rear doors and run speaker wire from there under the trim to the rear cargo area. This comes with a remote turn on wire too. Works great. Just bec sure to turn your amp gain to minimum first before testing the subs. The signal out of the LOC seems stronger than aftermarket head RCA outputs. Had to turn my gain almost to the lowest setting to prevent clipping. Running a couple 8” Pioner subs with built in mids and highs with the 4 factory speakers off a Centuion 2x100 amp. Set my amp to pass all frequencies and it sounds good.

Works great. Added subwoofer and amplifier to factory radio in 2017 Nissan maxima. This converter makes it super easy to add to a stock radio. Just tap in to factory speaker wires. The remote turn on with this converter saves so much time. The item works very well.

Ok the first one I got was a used opened package it wasn't even a kicker loc. The correct kicker loc does work great i would recommend again. Simple but sounds great.

Easy to plug into the rear speakers of my 2017 Ford F250 and to get my amp and subs to power on. I like the light on it to make sure it was working before putting my stereo back in to the dash once it was connected. I was hoping it would also turn off when my car is off but it did not so I had to install a manual inline switch in the remote line to make sure it turns off when I turn off my car. For the value it was great and made it super easy to plug in my subs and they sound great.

This LOC is awesome. I've used a couple of them. The 12V remote turn-on output is a game changer when using with a factory head unit. As a bonus which is really cool, you can use the 12V output from the LOC to trigger a relay to power other 12V accessories that you want to come on at the same time as the radio. For example I used the 12V output to not only trigger an amp, but also used it to trigger a 12V relay to power up a standalone carplay screen. This way the carplay screen turns on and off when the factory radio turns on or off. I love this LOC for its simple setup and wiring, but especially for the 12V remote output. When I use these LOC's, I also install and LED push-button switch inline from the LOC to the amp, so that I can completely turn the amp off at the push of a button if wanted (for example to conserve battery if sitting with the radio on in the vehicle but the engine off for an extended period of time).

Excellent value. Great for adding an aftermarket amplifier to a factory system. The built-in remote start is a really nice feature, and makes the install a snap!

Works as it should !!! It’s a wee bit sensitive and turns on with a little voltage fluctuation but other then that seems decent.

... war für 10 Minuten schwer enttäuscht, dann bemerkte ich das Remote (blaues Kabel) nur schaltet wenn das schwarze Kabel (Masse) nicht angeschlossen wird. Funktioniert ohne Masse perfekt, der Sub wird korrekt über Remote ein und ausgeschaltet und die Signale kommen sauber am aktivieren Sub an.

Does its job, so far no complaints .
