If youre a honda tech, you need this right now
It works well, been doing recalls on the sliding doors for honda odysseys, it was a pain just using a pick to pull these clips off. Took about a second to pop off the clip and i had one hand free to catch it from falling.

Saved 20 Minutes of Frustration
It's amazing how a little clip can cause so much frustration. Using a handkerchief removed it fairly easily, but putting the handle back on was an absolute pain. However, we saw this tool and took a chance. Slipped the clip in the slot on the short end and, lo and behold, it clicked in place with little effort and our Geo Metro window handle was working again. The tool itself is surprisingly big. Much longer than expected. Well built and made in the United States. Back of the tool had some discoloration, but didn't affect the results. So if you have old-school manual windows you're probably going to need this at some time.

Works on most cars of the era. Not mine.
Worked great after I modified it. The sides of the blade are bent up. I suppose this is meant to center the window or door handle during the removal operation. In my case, I'm working on a 1960 Mercury. The base of the handles are too wide to fit in the tool. As a result, the blade is almost 1/8th of an inch from engaging the clip that you are trying to remove. Rather than just return the tool and wanting to get the job done, I ground off the offending metal so the end of the the making it flat. As soon as I did that I was able to remove the clips on the first try. Works great now.

Good for removal, poor for install.
Haven't used this to remove window crank clips yet, but I think it will work fine. Installation does not go well at all: install end of tool does not hold clip securely, so it's always falling out unless you use some kind of adhesive to keep it in place; and it doesn't allow you to fully seat the clip. I could only get clip half-way into its slot, because when it's in the tool, you can't push it on any further. My technique may be deficient, but I doubt it.

Great Window and Door \Clip Remover
I used this window clip remover tool to remove and replace my windows door handle on my Toyota Corolla. The windows door handle broke off. I asked some auto mechanics if they could fix it but they only grumbled and gave me no confidence they could fix it. Luckily I found a parts dealer and got the exact color and model of windows crank handle. I did buy another window clip remover from another retailer but this Lisle 18600 was cheaper. It turned out during use that this was the best I found. It helps both removal of windows crank handle and installation of new windows crank handle. I highly recommend it. My windows crank handle looks like new and I did not pay some auto mechanic an outrageous price to replace it.

Worked on my TJ Jeep
Even though amazon said it "doesn't fit my vehicle" it worked on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler window crank. I was able to take the crank off in mere seconds and the other end helped get the pin back in place super quick(less than a minute total). This was worth the money for the amount of time and parts saved if I didn't have it.

I May Need To Work On My Technique
Was able to extract window crank clips from my Toyota's doors. Had to press on the door panel to expose the clip and then a good deal of force on the Lisle tool with back and forth movement. Even then the clip often fell into the door itself to be fished out once the panel was removed. When reinstalling if the handle position when window is fully up is of importance to you (per manufacturer recommendation) and you are off angle, you may get to remove the clip AND door panel to retrieve the clip and do it all over again... and again. Works better than anything else I have tried including dragging a rag back and forth as proposed by some on the internet.

Works perfect. Removed handle quickly
It's always good to just have the right tool for the job. This immediately removed the window handle and did it with ease. Well worth the money even though I will likely only use it once.

Wide fit makes clip removal difficult
Opening is too wide for the clips and made removal difficult.
