Easy light read
Was an ok book. A bit predictable but I still enjoyed it. Interesting little twists along the way.

Buckle your seat belt, you're in for a bumpy ride.
I bought the Audio CD version of this book. I loved it. There are six (6) CD's. There are twists and turns thru out this book, going back and forth from the past to the present. A lot of drama but be prepared for a little comic relief from time to time. The main story line gives you a few gut punches, making you wonder how Patricia will get out of her circumstances. If I have one minor criticism, it is to suggest to the author that, if he happens to have any American characters in future books, he might want to run the dialogue past an American to see if those are words we would actually say. For instance, we don't "collect" someone, we just go pick 'em up. I recommend the audio cd's. You are treated to Graham Norton's different accents. Very enjoyable.

lovely jubly
An easy to read, suspenseful story. Ending felt a little condensed. A sad full circle which although obvious, was still lovely to read.

Graham Orion. Is there anything he can’t do?
It wasn’t that long ago that I got turned onto Graham Norton as a talkshow host. I believe I now have seen all 75 years of his talkshow Hah a very recently learned that he was also an author I’ve now read two of his books - actually About the audio version as well which means he read along with me. Really cool. But his books are enthralling, exciting, funny, suspenseful, I thoroughly good read.

Unique
This story was very unique. It kept me interested. The author is not overly descriptive just to fill up pages like many are these days.

Great Read
Graham Norton's book was a wonderful read! There were many surprising twists and turns that kept me reading to find out what wss going to happen next. It was a different way to look at heritage, love, and family - but just wonderful.

Engaging story, back and forth through time periods with interesting twists!
I liked the story and the twists and turns, moving between mother and daughter’s time periods. Great focus on how things appear and the story behind life decisions.

Misteri di famiglia
Buona lettura, con molti personaggi e atmosfere ma tutto ben tracciato e lineare. Anche credibile, se questo può contribuire a rendere il tutto più accettabile

Moving and complex
This is the third book by graham norton that i read and i just couldn't put it down. the story of Elizabeth coming back to ireland and discovering truths about her own past and family gripped me tight. It is also such a warm and moving book - i can only recommend the author and will immediately be looking for other books that he published. Thank you!

Brilliant read, enjoyed it very much. Could imagine Graham reading it aloud. Going to re-read it as it was so good.
