Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron, 16 OZ Size: 16 OZ

I used this on my Saint Augustine grass in my front yard. I mixed 8 oz. in a hose end sprayer with 3 gal usage. The yellowing of the grass was almost gone the next day and after one week now is deep green. Definitely a good product.

I purchase this annually for use with my citrus plants. If you aren’t familiar with growing citrus, it might be easier to grow potato’s on mars! They require lots of food and tons of micro nutrient when grown in pots. One of the issues that come up often is an iron deficiency and it presents in the leaves. This stops that and will prevent it if applied a few times a year. I only add it to the water about three times during the peak growing months, or if symptoms present. It seems to mix really easily into a watered and works great.

I have ten azalea plants by the sidewalk. Their leaves became yellow and the bushes became flat regardless of watering. Once I gave it, the leaves turned green, no more bugs eating leaves, and the bush got taller. I am giving it monthly.

Excellent product and works well. Plants needed iron as their leaves were not dark green enough . One treatment and it fixed the problem.

This liquid iron was an easy application using a hand pump sprayer. Be careful not to spill any on your pavers, concrete, sidewalk or similar surface. Suggest mixing it on top of a piece of broken down cardboard or in an old plastic storage bin. I didn’t experience any staining but there are warnings all over the label. I applied 8 ounces mixed and 1 1/2 ounces of surfactant (helps product stay on the blades of grass) with one gallon of water per 1000 square feet on my St Augustine lawn in South Florida. This should be used as a foliar application, so the longer it sits on the lawn the more the grass will absorb the iron. Yo do not want to water this product in or even irrigate for at least 24 hours after applying. Try to apply around the weather, specifically avoiding rain. I think the best time to apply would be right before dusk, you have enough light to see what you doing and it’s cool enough that the solution doesn’t evaporate. I applied this product a day after applying Milorganite fertilizer and my lawn had a deep dark green appearance a few days later. I could definitely see a color change (for the good). I recommend this product if you want a color pop for a special occasion such as a holiday to impress your guests. This would also be great if you are experiencing yellowing in your lawn which is an indication of an iron deficiency to bring the color back to your lawn.

This works well although the cap doesn't. It's hard to close and it fell over I lost 90%
