I bought one for my six year old and the very next day bought myself one.Cons:- Ridiculous, fiddly, battery changing (screwdriver provided to get into the car)- Probably not very sturdy/durable- Not great turning radius for indoors- Dad and uncle will IMMEDIATELY take over as they are SO FUN!!!- A little tricky for a child under 7 to get the hang of quickly, leading to possible frustration.Pros:- Comes with everything you need in the box - including a second, different color, shell- Surprisingly quiet for this kind of toy- Despite not being super high quality they are holding up to abuse- Fully charged indicator on the USB charging cable- Each of the included 2 batteries last for AGES!- 2 cars can be used at once. Yes, you WILL be buying a second as they are super funI grew up with RC cars. Better electronics and battery technology has made these cheap and wonderful cars possible. Oh how I would have LOVED these as a kid!! They are not going to last many years, the way my toys did but ultimately they will probably bring as much if not more joy.I recommend hopping the fence to a local school and running round the playground!

This makes a great starter RC car for kids. The speed is decent but don't expect too much here. Like that it comes with 2 batteries so one can be charging. It has bounced down our carpeted stairs multiple times but be aware that the steering components are plastic and a serious blow could have you making repairs. The controller is a pistol grip type but you can tell it functions like the push button styles inside. I recently tried to repair a similar unit where a child had turned the wheel too hard and had badly damaged the internals. Just make sure you let the kids know that when you feel and hear it "click", that's as far as it goes both on the steering and trigger. Overall a good buy and fun toy.

This was Birthday gift for our 9 yo boy. He has had other RC vehicles, trucks, Dinos, robots. This one had the speed he was looking for. The remote is easy to understand and took little time to master. Wish the battery life would last FOREVER but would settle for an upgrade to a few hours instead of the 1 hour that comes standard. Not sure what the box says but he gets 45m to an hour before it stops. I’ll be willing to pay $20 more next time for another hour or 2 of playtime... ( Or should I say Me Time!!!) The car holds up pretty well for getting jumped off curbs, and homemade car ramps, run down stairs and other fun car adventures!!! I know this car won’t last forever, but we have gotten our $$$ worth & then sum. Would buy same car over next time!!

Great RC car for a great price! Not sure you can get a much better built RC car for the cost. It’s pretty quick and durable. It’s hit many hard bumps on our sidewalk and the worst that happened was one of the shocks came off. Very simple to put back on and it’s good to go. Battery life is good and with two sets of them included, you’ll probably be sick of playing with it by the time you’d need a third set.Only critique is I wasn’t able to get it to run on our grass. May just be the density and length of it since I’ve seen videos of it running on grass. Overall, solid car and worth the price. Fun to drive on smooth surfaces since it can drift.

I purchased this car for my 6 year old grandson. He was ecstatic when he received it and loved the fact that the car was already assembled and charged. We took the car outside to a fairly large parking lot to ensure he has room to play. Both he and I were impressed with not only the speed of the car but it’s immediate response to the controller. The car can start like a bullet and stop on a dime. The car is very light which allows it to be very nimble while making turns flawlessly. Unfortunately my grandson live far from me but when video chatting I still see him playing with this car on a regular basis. This is definitely still his favorite toy to play with. Kudos to the manufacturer for getting everything just right for all ages to enjoy.

It was a neat little car, my kids loved it. It went faster than my kids can run, which was fun to watch them chase it. The battery life also exceeded my expectations.The only real problem is that the USB charger that was included. After about a dozen times charging the batteries, it stopped working. It would flash red then stop. I'm an engineer so I pulled out my multi-meter and checked that the batteries were indeed not getting charged.I'm looking around now for a replacement. There's a bunch of similar chargers available on ebay, so that's likely what I'll do; none of the available chargers match the connection type so I'll likely have to do some modifying with a knife/dremel. I would give the car 5 stars considering the performance for how much is costs but a failed charger makes it dead in the water and it's extra cost and time to get a replacement.

After previous experience with RC cars that would get stuck on the edge of the carpet or not be able to go up a curb, we are very pleased with the performance of this car. It has two batteries which allows us to swap between them. Each one lasts about 30 minutes. The controls are simple enough for our 5 year old to handle them and the 2 year old can even do it to some extent. We have had the car for 5 months and have not had any problems with it. It has been driven everywhere, with some fairly hard use (lots of crashing!). It is perfect for younger kids getting started.

Not great, not terrible. Serviceable.
