READ B4 U BUY OR REGRET IT
I order this twice. The first one was real. Got rid of my pimples, smoothed out my skin, soften it and faded my dark marks in my face from scars and tan lines on my feet from straps Sandals super fast. I noticed my knuckles became the same brown color as my hands instead of black while using this. They look more feminine idk but they are pretty as heck and I wasn’t even trying to do anything to my hands(past pregnancy made my knuckles, knees, elbows, n nipples soooo dark. I’m talking like a black crayon and my skin is brown. BUTTTTT the second bar was totally different. The crap felt and smelt diff. Smells good but that’s to fool ya. The crap didn’t fade my discolorations AND brought back all my pimples this time my skin was worst and the bar had a nerve to melt like crazy. I mean super fast. I had that first bar for months and I used it every night b4 bed. So he/she/they give you the real stuff with it first Order. It works so good you might wanna order many the next time but that’s when they send you the fake stuff. That’s a shame. I loved my first bar

Actually Works for Dark Spots and Uneven Skin Tone
I’ve been using the Pure Kojic Acid Soap consistently for about two months now, and I’m genuinely impressed. I bought it to help with some stubborn dark spots and post-acne marks, and it’s already making a noticeable difference. My skin tone looks more even. The soap lathers well and has a light, clean scent. It doesn’t feel harsh, but I do recommend starting slowly maybe every other day especially if you have sensitive skin. I follow up with a good moisturizer and SPF during the day since kojic acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable solution for hyperpigmentation or dull skin, this is a great option. Just be consistent and patient the results are worth it!

I strongly suggest using this soap with a bleaching cream (personally recommend Piona) in order to achieve faster results
The value you'll get out of this product all depends on what you're looking for it to accomplish. If you're looking to clear up breakouts, this works well, especially so for oily skin. If you're looking to lighten your skin, I strongly suggest using this soap with a bleaching cream (personally recommend Piona) in order to achieve faster results. Used by itself, the lightening effects take a while to kick in. It does works great as an exfoliator, which is essential to skin lightening. Also, don't be scared to leave the soap on your face for longer than the recommended time. (you have to know your skin and what it can handle though) I've found that I can leave the soap on for about 5 mins without any discomfort. Allows for deeper penetration and exfoliation. It does thin the skin and causes a feeling of tightness in the face so again, it's a good idea to use it with a cream

I get tanned easily. I do not mind the tan
Background: I have a deep olive skin, and I am a pro at staying in the sun during summer days. Bike rides, swimming, running, etc. I get tanned easily. I do not mind the tan, but my upper legs, stomach, and chest area areas about 5 shades lighter than the rest of my body. Anyways, I wanted to even out my skin tone and I started using this product about 3 weeks ago. After reading reviews, I cut the soap in 4 pieces and I am today about to finish my first piece! I kept the other 3 pieces somewhere, and the current 1 piece I am using in a zip bag outside the shower. It melts very fast if overexposed to water. Use: First day I used it 20 seconds in the shower after my regular shower routine (with usual mild soap). I lather and apply the soap all over my body and felt a little tingling on my face around the 15 seconds mark and washed then. Second day I went to 30 seconds. The third I was on 60 seconds. After the first week, I started leaving it on for 3-6 minutes in the shower. I feel the tingling on my face but not the rest of my body. I use it about 5 times a week, once a day, when in the shower. I use a natural exfoliant before using the soap about 2 times a week. Something like sugar and honey, or white rice power, or oatmeal. I feel it makes my skin smoother. I use oils or regular moisturizer after the shower depending on what I feel like. I do not feel the need for heavy moisturizing everyday, probably just my skin tolerance. Results: After the 3rd day, I started noticing that my legs, knee down, had lots of white peels. Like dry skin peels when I walked out of the shower and dried myself. Those are not noticeable after moisturizing though. My legs from the knee down were the first areas to go lighter. The "micro-peel" is hard to notice, but currently (3 weeks in), I have thousands of tiny light spots, very very tiny, everywhere. It increases day by day and I imagine, at the end, all of the areas will be that color. Except for my legs (knee below), I did not see any peels, but mostly, those light spots (about 2-3 shades lighter) all over my body. You have to look close to notice though. Verdict: All in all, it works, but the effect is barely noticeable if one does not keep track or take comparison pics. I am able to tell I am getting the results as I have my chest area to compare to. Not all areas peel with skin that comes out like my legs do, so it may seem as if nothing is happening. Using a natural exfoliant about 2 times a week is helpful for me, first in general for smooth skin and probably that might help the exfoliating process of the soap itself. Side effects: Yes, the first week and a half, I broke out a little. Regular places where I get pimples from time to time, arose. I stuck with it, and today, nothing on my face, but smooth skin. Good luck. I will be using this soap until my skin evens out, and I will mostly use it as a maintenance later on. I am unsure if it actually whitens, seems for me, mostly just getting your "true" skin color out. I don't know, other reviewers might have insights on that. Or I can update if I get lighter over time :)

A Different Formula & Smaller Sized Soap
Have purchased several bars since 2018. They worked effectively at removing dark spots and evening out my skintone. Sometime in the latter part of 2020 or 2021, the formula was changed to a milder version so they decreased the amounts acids within the soap that made the soap effective and they also made the soaps half the size of what they were before. At first I thought it was a fluke, then I recently ordered 2 more soaps and it is the same. They made the soaps so mild it's like it literally is just a body soap that provides none of the effects it was purchased for. All of the results you are seeking for discoloration, hyperpigmentation...dark spots...u will not find any relief from THIS soap in it's current deliberately diminished state at all. Time to find another soap that actually lives up to their claims. It's a shame that a once good company that used to make good soap feels they now need to dupe customers out of their money just because they can. Guess they think we are stupid. Find another soap because this is no longer it!

Alternative To Kojie San/ works just as Good if not Better
This soap is the BEST brightening soap HANDS DOWN😍😍😍 I promise you I was using Kojie San for 6 years now and Kojie San does work if you get the legit bars from legit sellers....I usually order from sweetsuzy off ebay however, I've noticed in summer months.....With the deal she sends with 2 bars... 1 of the bars would work EXCELLENT to lighten my hands a shade after 1st use but then the 2nd bar would be a darn fake😒 And im not here for that at all 👎 In winter her bars(both)are usually always the legit ones...but in summer no way because i assume she gets in sooo many ORDERS in summer, thus she rations them and did not think we woukd notice smh.. Anywho I will use this MF soap in summer months and in winter id rotate with kojie san and Marie France etc Also with Marie France... 1 BAR IS HUGE😍😍😍 THIS SOAP IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT IT also lightens after 1 use i see instant brighteing/lighteing etc Im IN LOOOVE AND HAPPY now that ive found an alternative lighteing soap besides Kojie San 👍 👍 👍

Working: Thank You Marie France!
Light skinned sista with sensitive skin using this soap to resolve very very dark and stubborn self-diagnosed upper lip melasma. Still on the first bar, and seeing AMAZING results. I began seeing small but noticeable results the first couple of weeks. Results are faster, now with more frequent use. Melasma is breaking up big time!!!. Here's what worked for me: 1. First 3 weeks: Use every 4 days: 20 seconds (face), 60 seconds (body) 2. 2 weeks: Use every 3 days 3. 2 weeks: every 2 days* 4: 2 weeks: every 2 days: increase time on face/body 30 sec./90 sec. 5. 2 weeks: increase time on skin. * step currently on Adverse effects: Mild contact dermatitis (bumps). Applied anti-itch cream (2-3x/day). Bumps quickly resolved without leaving marks. No bumps after week 1 on current routine (*) Initially, skin itches a bit during initial and increased usage. Applying more moisturizer helps throughout the day helps. The itchiness dissipates over time. I have sensitive skin, thus, I did not use the soap as per manufacturer's instruction for initial use. I have to be VERY cautious when using new skin products. Because I did not want to have a bad breakout or irritation that I would have to try to correct- which we know takes weeks! Therefore, I used a very conservative regimen to observe how my skin reacted. I think that's why my contact dermatitis was very mild. I am also using Hadalabo Milk and The Ordinary's Niacinamide and Alpha Arbutin and Puress's Tranexamic Acid serums on my face. These combined were giving me slow but noticable results. Sunscreen as well! (Supergoop). I receive lots of compliments on my skin. But the melasma was just, UGH! Then I discovered this soap. The results thus far, are amazing. Will continue using on face and body for consistency. Thank You!!

Works if you can tolerate it
Note, my skin is used to harsher treatments. For example, I use glycolic acid, so I don't have very sensitive skin to begin with. I have fair skin and am Asian if it makes a difference. What works for me may not necessarily work for you, so proceed with caution! I had some hormonal acne that led to dark spots on my chin area under my mouth. My spots were recent (about a week old) so I immediately bought this soap to try it out to see if I could lighten them early on. I had already been using tranexamic acid, retinal creams and salicylic cleansers daily to treat my acne spots so my spots were already lightening a bit but not as fast as desired. I used less products a day before in prep of using this kojic soap. On the day of using this soap, I did as directed and wet my face before apply the soap on the area, leaving it on for a few seconds then washing with cold water. I did it a second time on the same day after seeing I didn't feel any adverse effects. As you can see from my pic, it looks a little red from irritation after washing off the soap but nothing that moisturizer couldn't fix for me. I do think it's working a bit (not as dark as before) but given all the products I had already been using days before, I can't tell if the lightening is due to this or my routine. But at least I can say I haven't experienced any chemical burns and have seen a slight difference from before using the soap where I'll be adding this to my arsenal of skincare products if I ever need a quick dark spot fix from acne.
