It's perfect

Compared to other auto-feeders I considered, I like the way this one distributes the food. It doesn't just rotate around and dump it in. You can adjust the length of time it distributes food too. Also, you can attach the food jar where the cap is for longer auto distribution. The timer for distributing the food works well and is so precise you could set your watch by it.The only con I found with this feeder is you don't know when the timer is set to release food unless you are the person to set it. After you set it and press the activate button, it immediately distributes the first feeding and will distribute each of the other feedings per the selection you choose over the next 12 hours. Then there is a 12 hour period of no feedings. The main problem is unless you see the feedings drop you really have no clue of when they are set to drop. A digital clock that would allow you to review the feeding times would be much more preferred over this analog type of scheduling.Other than that I really like the way this performs.

This things works great. We’ve had for about 30 days and it has worked flawlessly. Our turtles are very happy now when we leave for the weekend to go skiing. Thanks zoo med!

Dispenses alot of food even on lowest setting. Too much food.

Not a bad design but if your turtle is on the large side it may be not big enough or sturdy enough the suction cups don’t stick very well and do come off recommend they improve the mounting to the side of the aquarium better

Great when it worked .. only lasted about 8 months. Replaced batteries .. still nothing.

Dispenses way too much food! Mounting brackets broke first time puting it on my tank yesterday. Hope the food in the dispensary lasts 4 days...

Overall very sturdy looking feeder that can handle most pellet sizes and I love the option of directly attaching the pellet container for increased capacity!However even at the shortest 1sec interval of feed (as you set the by choosing how long the feeder pushes pellets through) it would still over feed my two adult mud 3-4” turtles. And it cannot (like most other feeders) be programmed to feed every other day. Considering this is a turtle specific design I would have expected this as an option.But I suspect big RES do need to be fed daily? Then this will work well
