High quality parts, heavy duty power transformer, NOS tubes. Instructions were clear and kit went together in a couple hours. I used an oak board instead of the included pine board. I looks great like it is. Using it to power a Hi-Fi 12" Heppner speaker out of a 1960's Hammond Organ that I installed into a modern 12" subwoofer enclosure. I feed the amp with a Belkin bluetooth receiver, I can stream oldies from Pandora through my phone and it plays through this tube amp and the bass tuned enclosure with the big full range organ speaker. It sounds just like an old floor console radio from the 40's. Plan to buy more. (I also replaced the clickey switch with a line mounted rocker switch)

Easy and fun kit to put together. I did two of them in four hours and the sound is great. It won't be as quite as an intergrated amp but the hum is isolated in the amp and doesn't transfer over to the speakers
