Man! What a piece of great engineering and pure beauty. Just got it. At the very first glance, I immediately fell in love with this beautiful thing. Used it to thin my hair, and it performed like hot knife through butter. But be very careful with this thing, It is VERY SHARP! I cut myself and bled when I glided my finger across the blade to try to remove hair debris from the blade. Bottom line, not only it does its job perfectly, it is pure gleaming beauty. If I could sleep with it I would. LOL! Buy it already.

Like pretty much everyone these days, I can't visit my regular barber because of the coronavirus -- so I have started looking a bit shaggy. I was looking for a good quality thinning sheers that I could use to thin and shape my hair. I used it for the first time today and it worked like a charm -- and my hair definitely looks much better. I used another sheers to shorten my hair and then this sheers to thin it and shape it a bit. I will say, however, that the blades are very sharp -- the very first cut of my hair, I got the fingers from my left hand in the way, which resulted in a small cut on that hand. It was definitely my fault -- but be aware when using these sheers that they are very sharp -- precisely as advertised. But, based on my first use today, it appears to be a high-quality product.

My husband likes to wear his hair short. Because he has very thick hair, even when it is short it can appear bushy and hard to run a comb through it. With COVID-19 I've tried to help with home hair cuts, but just a cut isn't enough. These thinning shears are great! They are easy to use and SHARP! With the addition of the thinning shears to actual cutting shears his hair is much more manageable.

The only issue that I have is the ease with which the teeth can be deformed, preventing the shears from closing fully. After letting my hair grow out for the first 10 months of the pandemic, I needed a trim. Badly. When unexpectedly successful at cutting my hair with a beard trimmer, I decided to cut my own hair going forward. I invested in a nice set of clippers and then shears for some detail work. I started with these thinning shears. They’re great, extremely effective. I then purchased a pair of regulars shears from the same brand. They came with a case. I stored the thinning shears in the second spot within the case, and then tucked the case inside the top of a case for the clippers, which separated the top and bottom with a layer of foam. When I closed the case, there was slight tension on the zipper. To my dismay, that proved to be enough to deform the teeth of the thinning shears so that they could not close more than halfway. I was able to repair the thinning shears easily enough. I loosened the screw holding the two sides together, pressed gently into he problem teeth, and then tightened the shears back up until they performed as recommended in the accompanying literature. The repair was simple enough, but I was very surprised that the teeth were so malleable. They deformed with no more than the tension exerted by zipper closure of a case. I chalk it up as a defect in my care of the shears rather than in the shears themselves. They have otherwise been lovely. If you purchase these, I am confident that you will be pleased as long as you do a better job than I did with storage.

Well made and sharp! (Watch your fingers!!) Good fit and balance in the hand. Good value. A plus is the nice leather pouch provided with the shears. The tension adjust is a spanner type nut and a tool is provided. It is a little annoying finding the right gap on the tool. I would prefer the knurled knob with tactile click.

It was good while it lasts. My problem was this scissors broke on me several times. The knot that supposed to keep it tight keeps getting loose and mind you that this is a replacement already. I think they only lasted for a good 4 months and it will start acting up. It was a very sharp scissors and that's why it only got 3 stars. I would have love it if it lasts me at least a year of use for it. I guess you get what you pay for.

I’ve never cut my hair but with these sharp scissors I did my best. By the second cut I was even more pleased. I used regular scissors and thinning scissors because is short but thick. I have accordion mirrors on both sides of my bathroom, so I could see the back of my head from all angles. The scissors were easy to use, very, very sharp and the tip is slightly rounded to keep you from unintentionally knocking yourself. I’m most relieved to be able to do a good job until my hair stylist is available again.

Wow. What a difference from my old thinning shears. These are sharp and really do a great job. Worth every penny.
