Unfortunately, I live on concrete floors. My Brace Direct Post Op shoes were not quite soft enough, so I added an insole which helped tremendously; however, it had the shape of a regular shoe, not a post op shoe. I bought the Darco PegAssist insole, hoping it would fit and it does, perfectly. My Brace Direct shoes are size: Ladies Large and my Darco PegAssist insoles (I just purchased a second one) are size: Medium. When I receive my second Darco insole, I will place them on top of the existing Brace Direct insoles for a fantastic cushioning effect. I normally wear a size 8 in a regular shoe and 9 1/2 in a sports shoe. Could not be happier with my purchases! I'm having problems with both feet, so because I am wearing a pair of each, I don't have to worry about a difference in height between my feet.

We had originally purchased boot and insole from a specialty business where my husband's podiatrist sent us. We had to have a prescription from the doctor, wait for an appointment and we paid more. Since we didn't need any special care/training after the first visit,,,just a replacement insole....the tech told us about Amazon. We're very pleased he did.

Purchased to offload a wound for my father. It is easy to design but fits awkward in the shoe. If the shoe isn’t larger then what is needed it will be difficult to fit.

This insole was great. Dr did the fitting, a good thing to know is circle on the foot the areas and then press the insole to the foot the same way it will be worn to mark it correctly prior to popping out the pegs. Worked great at reducing pressure to my dad's wound and he would wear it when he wouldn't wear the big boot

I absolutely loved this peoduct!!! i have diabetic ulcers which turned to severe open wounds, I was completely ready to give up and just go ahead and have the below the knee amputation my dr suggested this products. i was willing to try and do anything .The process was very easy and within. Weeks my wounds began to bea!! thank you so much

The sole and pressure reducer is easy to use. I had an open sore underneath baby toe and made it easier to walk on using the boot- shoe. I bought mens medium and it fit perfect with a little space after the big toe. I wear women’s shoe size US 9-9.5

Failed after 2 days of use! Have an ulcer on my big toe; I have been using a boot with another manufacturer of pegassist pads (don't have a product name or I would rebuy) without fail for the past 4 weeks. This insole, set up the same way, failed! My podiatrist even made sure I had removed the right amount of pegs....still it failed! the top foam tore, creating a sharp edge for more problems to develop. I had purchased 4, so I redid the insert.I don't like using the boot when walking the dog and I don't need the ankle/leg stabilization.It was easy to easy to use though

Not really sure what I am supposed to compare this to, this is my first. I got the insert as well, with the pop out pieces to free your wound. seems to work well, I can drive with it, which is a big deal for me. a bit clunky (I got the size 13-15 or similar, and it is quite bulky) but livable. and my foot continues to heal, which is the big deal. So I recommend.
