Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed, High Traffic Mix

Been using the high traffic seed for years and in more than one yard. It's Scott's best seed version because it works consistently regardless of shade, sun, traffic, or no traffic. New growth blends perfectly with other, older growth, including texture, thickness, and color. I fertilize first with an organic compost, seed by hand to avoid over-seeding into the flower beds, and set the sprinkler system for 3 or 4 cycles per day at 1 minute each, depending on sun exposure. It's critical not to let the seed dry. I don't skimp on seed application, but it's worth the cost because it grows.

My yard is a dirt pit, recently turned dust pit, in the summer. I have a Great Dane and we prioritize her happiness running around over our dreams of having a yard with grass. I bought this grass seed as a lazy test to see if maybe it would grow. TRULY when I’m telling you I didn’t put any effort into this seed, I mean it. I didn’t prep the ground, I didn’t buy special soil, I watered it maybe once? It sat in the direct summer sun, my dog trampled it, peed on it etc. and a few days ago it grew?! I am never buying another type of grass seed again. This has truly amazed me. Imagine what would’ve happened if I tried harder?! This seed is resilient and pretty independent. I’m so amazed. All of the grass in the photo is new and from this seed!!!

Exactly what it's supposed to do! Easy to use, grass grows full and quick. Price was great, at the time of purchase, and it came next day which was great for the yard project I was doing bcz I didn't have to stop and go anywhere. The grass grows very green and beautiful.

This is the only seed that works when trying to fill in bare spots.

I can’t buy the large bag because they won’t ship to Louisiana. but, I can order a small bag and it comes right to my door???? What’s that about???? Overpriced for sure!!! :(

The seeds sprouted within a few days (although I didn't rake them into the soil well) and grew vigorously in the few days after. I wanted to buy another one and keep it for the future, but it's not available any more :(

I have tried using this several times in the same area, and still nothing. AND Yes, I followed the instructions, but still no luck.
