It's a neat little box and blocks the rf signal well enough. I can fit plenty of car keys in it, as long as there's not a lot attached to them. 6 or more if it were just the keyfobs. It closes nicely and doesn't look out of place wherever you place it. It doesn't take up much room so it can be hidden as well.

Until a friend of ours in law enforcement mentioned to us recently, I honestly had no idea that the RFID transmitted from most vehicles key fobs could be copied and used to open, start and steal your vehicle without ever having the keys. Thieves have software that can detect and duplicate a key fobs RFID as its constantly trying to transmit to your vehicle at all times. Which is why many owners can start, lock, or unlock their cars from inside their homes, when walking out of a store, etc. Once it's been copied, it's like handing your key fob directly to the person wanting to steal it. Your vehicle's safety mechanism that shuts off your car if driven out of range from your actual key fob won't work since the thieves copied the RFID transmitted. Basically your vehicle thinks the key fob is always within range. Our LE friend said that many of these car thieves are paid by and are a part of a much bigger crime organization and many of the stolen vehicles are immediately shipped out of the country. So, he told us about these boxes that block the RFID when your key fobs are inside and to get one. As soon as this Faraday box delivered I unlocked our vehicles, put the fobs inside the box and sat inside our cars with the Faraday box to see if I could start the vehicles. Both vehicles said "key not detected" and would not start until I took the keys out of the box. This means it works! I kind of wish it was a little bigger but I didn't take into account having house and door keys on our key rings themselves so it does quickly take up space. I would just keep that in mind when picking the box size. The box itself seems sturdy and beyond simple to use. I don't see how it will ever stop working so I'm assuming this will be a one time buy. Plus, it's such a cheap purchase to help ensure our "not so cheap" vehicles! I highly recommend. In the photo, you will see I have the Faraday box (with my keys inside it) sitting on the dash and the message stating that the smart key is not detected.

This Faraday box flat out works. Some little dudes tried to make off with my C8 — keys were sitting right there in the box — and they couldn't get a signal through to save their lives. Car wasn't going anywhere, they weren't going anywhere with it, everybody left disappointed. Only knock I've got is the thing shows wear and tear quicker than I'd like, like it's aging in dog years. But it worked so well I went ahead and bought a second one, because apparently I trust this box more than I trust my neighborhood. Pro tip: test it before you rely on it. Toss a cell phone in there and try calling it. If a call that's already connecting goes through, fine, that's normal — calls already in progress will ride it out. But if a call comes through clean while the phone's sealed inside the box? Send it back immediately, because that box is not doing its one job.

I bought it and tested with my car. When the car fob is inside the box and I am inches away from a car, my car doesn't unlock, the signal is blocked. Since the box and keys are inside the house, some distance away from the car, I am very confident that no signal is coming to the car and it is safe. This box also looks nice. If you're worried about your car being stolen when parked at home, I'd buy this box.

Worked great first try With thieves getting more technical one has to keep up with counters I like the look and feel, looks like a fine jewelry box.

I bought two of these boxes, and I just received them the other day. My vehicle is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that uses a keyfob. For my vehicle, I keep the keyfob in my pocket and can open and lock my doors and back hatch by touching the door or hatch handles. In addition, when I start my vehicle by push button, and my foot is on the brake, the vehicle checks to see if the keyfob is inside the vehicle. If it is not, then the dashboard will display "No keyfob in vehicle", and not start the vehicle. I put one of my keyfobs in one of the boxes, closed it up, and tried to open the doors and the hatch. As I was trying to open the doors and hatch, I rotated the box in various directions, but was never able to open the doors or hatch . I tried this with both boxes, and I was unable to open the doors or hatch with either box. So I opened up the top of one of the boxes, with the keyfob in it, and I was easily able to open up the door with no trouble. I then tried to start the vehicle with the keyfob inside the fully closed box, which was inside the vehicle. Again I rotated the box, while repeatedly trying to start the vehicle. No luck, the vehicle would not start. I open up the box and tried again, and the vehicle immediately started up. So in summary. The box (actually both boxes) I bought works exactly as described. It is a nice size, well made, and a reasonable priced. It works perfectly for my vehicle and keyfobs.

We store our spare keys and remotes in this box. If I take the closed box full of my car keys near my vehicles I am unable to open the cars. Exactly what I wanted!
