Fast Electric Fire Starter, Igniter Charcoal Lighter,BBQ Charcoal Grill Tool Lighting

Decided to ditch the lighter fluid and matches. This electric fire starter does a good job. The cord is Long enough to reach my grill from the outlet which is a plus. The starter takes about a minute to get a good start going. I usually light both sides and have a well established fire in under 5 minutes. I have heard if you don’t follow directions and keep the tip in too long you will damage it. But I haven’t had an issue, yet. I recommend this item.

I like the two stage lighters they provide more heat initially and then the warm air will accelerate. This lighter does light the charcoal fairly quickly.

There is no comparison between this and a long reach butane lighter or a match. First of all, to turn it on you must actuate a monetary contact switch, which means you must hold it on in order to heat it up. It takes several minutes to heat up. After two minutes it is barely hot enough to make paper glow. You must sit patiently forcing your thumb out. In addition, this uses an electric cord. If you are not close to an outlet, you must use an extension cord, If you are indoors lighting a fireplace, you will need to set it down in an area to cool off. A long reach butane lighter, by contrast: click on, ignite, turn off, set down, use again, cheap. A match? even better.

Got tired of burning up the plug and heat kind. This thing is a must have. You can’t forget about it because you have to hold the heat/blower button. Heat towards bottom for 60 seconds and you are done. Highly recommend.
