I use Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shaving Cream most of the time, but tried this out. I even went as far as shaving with one side of my face with this brand and the other using Old Bond Street. Bottom line is:- Old Bond Street is slicker so you get a little better shave- Old Bond Street has a little more Sandalwood smell to it which I like- The Henry Cavendish is close, but not as good in these two regards- Where Henry Cavendish really shines it after the shave! I have a part of my face that gets razor burn and the ingredients really help my face feel better. So for sensitive skin this brand seems (for me anyway) to give a healing shave that Old Bond Street does not. Which would I use, well I may try every other order to change these out, or buy one of each and mix the two together. We'll see.

Produce is good BUT I cannot believe that they ship it with a small envelope that contains a two-edge non safety razor blade!!! So you open the box and it seems good and they do not warn you that the packaging contains a razor blade. What about children? Grandchildren? Others who might not notice since it is not labeled. Really stupid to ship a non-safety razor blade as a freebie!!! Please do some thinking and stop shipping it; and if you do at least put a clear warning on the box. Really Now!

At the sale price this is an awesome shaving cream - natural products, good shave, I use it with a mutli blade shaver and it is easy to do blade clean up. I use it with a brush but it can be used with just the fingers. I must say with the brush it IMO makes for a very good lather on the face. Protects your face and skin ... does what it should... I gave it only 4 stars because full retail price is pretty hefty.

This cream is nice, thick and slick. The scent is not overpowering but not exactly to my taste. I have also used it together with other soap in a Superlather. Overall its performance is good. I will not give it 5 stars because their ad states that Proraso and TOBS are toxic. I find that to be unprofessional. Also, they use the words "World Renowned" on the lid. I have used many different kinds of creams and soaps, but I have never heard of this company or its product until recently.

Clean, fresh, and non-irritating to my face. Adding small amounts of water, it makes a substantial shaving lather. I appreciate that it contains skin-soothing ingredients. I was hoping for the scent of Sandalwood, as its title suggests, but I couldn't detect Sandalwood nor any other scent to the product. If it had a rich Sandalwood aroma I would have given it 5 stars.

Smells good, but didn't lather well for my water type.

First I do not care for brushless and this one is brushless. There is hardly any smell. Three stars because the shave is pretty good.

I got this for my husband, but I disliked the smell, so shortly after I got him something else.
