I like the devise but did not like getting a already open and used product. It works, but it was missing a cable. I was glad I did not need it. Just wanted the company to know this!

Nice clear signal and range is excellent. Better than built in BT on my Denon receiver.

My experience is based on use with Monoprice BT-500ANC headphones with Aptx HD codec and using the Boltune in transmitter mode.I bought this because a previous aptx transmitter supported low-latency, but my headphones did not. It would pair and choose the LL codec instead of regular aptx so I got no output (Qualcomm lies about backwards compatibility). This one allows selection between low-latency and HD. This aspect works great.Pairing was easy. Sound quality is nice. There is a noticeable delay. Not acceptable for cinematics or gaming. For music or less critical video content (presentations, talks, etc.) it's fine. This is inherent to aptx/aptx hd, but I thought I'd mention it.Range is great. I get about 20ft through several walls. With good placement you can cover a nice area.Popping issues. Sometimes after initial pairing I'll hear a few pops in the first 10-20 seconds then it settles out. When reaching the range limitation of the transmitter I also heard popping. I think this is pretty disappointing. Feels like you could do a lot better than producing a loud pop just because there are connectivity issues. Fortunately this doesn't affect most usage so while unpleasant it isn't going to leave me searching for another replacement. It's possible my headphones may be at fault, but I did not experience this issue with them when pairing with other devices also using aptx hd (android phone, win 10 tablet) so I blame the transmitter.

I have had this for several months. I wanted to be able to give a meaningful review. At first I had some problems getting some devices to pair, sometimes the placement made a huge difference. The performance has been great with 1 exception. I have a set of bluetooth headphones that it will simply not work with although they have had zero issues connecting with any other bluetooth system so far. So 3 out of 4 devices I have tried work well, 1 does not work at all.

This is a upgraded model for B07RYQ2DD7. It works much better and easier than its ancestor. It has a clear instruction, but the product works easily in expected ways with help from the instruction. Sound and connection quality are both good.

Bluetooth is mainly for convenience, must be compared with the cable or there is a loss of detail, even if the so-called Qualcomm APTX lossless, the sound field performance is still slightly blurred, treble detail background is lost. But this product is good, the wire is also good, the built-in power amplifier is also qualified!

This transmitter is a life saver! We just got it last night and used it with our Bluetooth headphones and it is awesome! Took a while to figure out how to get it hooked up, but probably more to do with it being almost midnight, we just couldn't wait to try it out!
